Just picked up Dreams on PS4 and its blowing my mind. Needless to say, I've already made some AFL goal posts and planning to rival AFL evolution.

Whose got it and who wants to collaborate on an epic AFL game? So far, megaman is ready to footy. Obviously a real simulation would be a bridge too far, so I'm thinking a more arcade style, nba jam style of aussie rules game.

I probably won't pick it up till it comes on sale down the track since I'm trying to plough through a few unfinished games right now.

How are you finding it anyway? Is the creating intuitive? How are you finding the games others have created?

I'm blow away by the scale of it. Its really infinite in what you can do. Its intuitive to an extent. There are literally 1000s of tools so its overwhelming at first, but each one is easy when you know how.

Games that people have made are a mixed bag so far. Some truly great ones, but a ton of crap. I'm sure that will change as time goes on.

Yeah it's basically a social networking platform. You give thumbs up and those games rank higher

It's a steal for the price. It's a very deep and complex game, video, and music creation platform. You literally can create anything. Im surprised there isnt more press. Its sitting on 91 on metacritic so its getting rave reviews.

I'm currently animating batman to handball and kick goals while redesigning the MCG. Meanwhile this guy is remaking Fallout 4:

I went looking to see if there was a Dreams thread to see if anyone was making an AFL game.

Am not disappointed.

I think you're right to make an arcade-style game. If I had a PS4 I'd be all over this, but alas I do not. Hopefully it comes to PC one day
