Hope you guys dont mind me posting!

Dwayne Russell either hates north and essendon or just loves Sydney. Has so much praise for Sydney allllll the time baracking for them, how good they are, took pot shots at North last week and now taking a shot at Lloyd saying he's good at diving et. Is this guy a tool or what!
 
Whether he bags Essendon or not, he is still a tool.

That show he does on Fox Sports is incredibly annoying, I honestly change the channel when it comes on. His commentary is horrible and he tries to use words outside is vocabulary range ;)

Don't mind you posting at all, because I agree. ;)

Going by his comments on ABC Radio and now on Fox, he's always seemed to have some sort of jealousy or envy of us. With lots of stupid, snide comments thrown in. The slur on Lloyd (after he went to ground after being struck with a forearm, no less) was just the latest of many over the years.

And yeah, not sure about what he thinks of North, but he sure loves Sydney. Like most of the current TV and radio commentators. At least Gerard Healy isn't commentating today, so we should be grateful for small mercies I guess.

If I heard right, not sure if i did but did one of the commentary say that Hurley has bad skills and isnt a good kick.
I thought he was a good kick and his skills look good
 
Dwayne Russell and Michael Christian...worst commentators of our great game, said it before and i'll say it again and again!!!

Foxtel needs to employee some new talent!!!!!!!

That was Lynch.

And it was Dunstall having a go at Hurley, I think. Russell actually corrected him.

The annoying part of Russell is his goal calling. In general every goal he calls is the same goal over and over again something like a ground hog day goal.

His knowledge of the background of players is as good as any.

Intresting that Hurley has a 100% effective disposal rate through his entire carrer. ;)


He is an extremely good kick, which I'm sure Ant would agree with.

That and the term "bouncepass". Seriously everytime a kick would land a metre short of a player and the player would take it on the half volley it was a bouncepass!

He is. I think Dunstall stuffed up by commenting on Hooker when in fact it was Hurley with the ball.

The 40 odd metre pass to set Kyle up was as good a kick as I have seen all year. Pity Kyle missed the shot. But if that is the terrible delivery we can expect from Hurley all career, then, it will have to do. :D
 
I'm glad it wasn't just me that picked up on Dwayne Russell lol. Thought I was just being a bit paranoid.

I lolled when Sydney kicked a goal in the last quarter to bring it back to under 30 points and he yelled "THEY'RE BACK!"

Surely you save a call like that for when a team gets within 2 goals lol.

If only BT commentated Saturday fox games.:(

"From the paint" when someone has a shot on the 50m line is the one that kills me.

He is hopeless, and the smugness is in his voice is excruciating.

I wish I had the cash to buy the TV rights so I could have the pleasure of sacking the hack.

yeh you heard right, it was the pig, i almost sprayed a mouthful of beer allover the tele! thought part of being a commentator was having 1/2 a clue about the teams you are calling:thumbsdown:

Thats right. It was when Hurley bounced down the wing. Then handed off to Dyson who hit one of our guys on the chest. I got a chuckle out of it. But even on the replay he insisted on it. lol

You heard right, and i couldnt believe it. Hurley is a fantastic kick. Russel needs to do some research before opening his trap.

He gives me the shits, he is a huge tool
