For those new BF posters unaware of the extreme optimism version of The Lemon - "exhibit A"Hawks by 54
Was it after a game at Domain against the Weagles where the Bigfooty Account Shakespeare met its demise?West Coast are our bunnies. We win when it matters.
Load up on the Hawks people...once WCE announce a couple of late outs we will come right in.

Maybe Shakey can reappear in time to bless our finals campaign with his pessimism.Richmond game last year. And poor Shakey was not removed as requested, so he sits in limbo
Optimism killed Shakey in the end. Ironic dudeMaybe Shakey can reappear in time to bless our finals campaign with his pessimism.

Agree with most of your post, however lose to the Eagles and beat the Pies and we most likely finish fourth...though I don't relish an away final to the Swines. This one is tough, and is the game that might very well decide our chances of the flag. In a year where the premiership favouritism is so evenly spread, whoever is contending is going to need every advantage they can get, which means home finals and double chances. If we lose, it's odds on we won't get first or second, because that relies on four big upsets in two weeks to the other four teams - we win two, we keep the position, we don't and we're either away or fifth...
I don't buy any of that "better to finish fifth" or "we're the team that can take it from anywhere" crap - it's even more critical this year for any contender to walk in with advantages, because noone is superior enough to anyone else when circumstances are level...
No cockiness here...this won't be easy...
One of the characters of this board, we need him to counter The Lemon's crazy notions of success.Optimism killed Shakey in the end. Ironic dude
Yep - Shakey needs to rise from that coma and set The Lemon straightOne of the characters of this board, we need him to counter The Lemon's crazy notions of success.

What are you doing on here mate?
