Pity quite a few of your team of champions from 2023 didn’t have the cojones/loyalty to test themselves in the premier division then isn’t it?

One would have thought that if they were so confident in their ability to take the top division by storm, then they would have stuck around to actually prove it on the field.

Instead we are now left with their supporters, fuelled by an overdose of irrational hubris and delusion bragging about the outcome of hypothetical matchups.

Morrish & Goater are in the USA pursuing Punting Careers with the blessing of the club. Those two would be in the best 5 players in the whole of premier league this year if playing. 10 goal differential to the Deer Park outfit not having them in the team.

they should have stayed where they belong in the WRFL

WRFL is a basket case time for the club to step up a grade.

No team is beating Keilor this season so you can stick ya wiggle room theory. Strathmore got flogged last year and probably did well to get within 8 goals this season. The second side got annihilated by 20 goals so everyones playing for second this season. Not sure what your remotely threatened comment is in reference too other than getting embarrassed on the big stage again!

It's in response to your belief that Deer Park will play off for the flag in coming years.
Deer Park are seemingly running at full capacity, others have more obvious scope for improvement.
For clarities sake, Strathmore had one player that attracts more than one point under the current system, they've got scope to bring in reinforcements.
Deer Park, a side without 18s do not have the pipeline of junior talent that affords them the luxury of doing so without first churning their list.
Yes, Keilor thump Pacco, Mores etc but those sides beat Deer Park without too much worry, which is more or less my point, that there's levels to this & Deer Park is a fair way off competing.

i do understand that dp won a heap in succession in another comp prior to joining edfl and were obviously too good or perhaps too resourced financally compared to rivals. did they have underpinning success at reserves or 3rds level during thst time? if so why has it not carried threw with the comp shift.
surely no club would swap comps to just be all about the senior side without depth or junior players and families been for it to?

Ole Mortlock. You are obsessed with Deer Park it seems. Come to a Deer Park home game and put aside an hour or so to look at the silverware and premiership team photos. This year is purely a consolidation year and Deer Park have well and truely proved they are competitive and have enhanced what was a wilting league. Certainly have more followers than every club bar Keilor.

thought the same. often its the ressies who pay full club memberships and shorts socks etc when paid players have it included in a package. they also often spend more at the bar post game than paid players do. also allow enough numbers at training to do full ground match scenario. i cuold go on

I love it, I have been waiting for the Deer Park comments to come back. This is gold!!!!
