My first option would be to just through all social media in the bin. Or at least... take it all off phones. I still want to be able to log onto BigFooty on my laptop I just don't like everyone using TikTok on their phones all day.


Or... old person fuddy-duddiness aside... this problem only goes away if and when we turn a corner and make thoughtfulness, creativity, and generally more positive vibes the winner for social media algorithms. So the starting point would be if we had people running those platforms believing in those things, which we can't even get so it's a long way from changing.

Boycotting the sharing of information from Twitter is a good and reasonable way to demonstrate your distaste for its owners views. If you are against those views of course.

I’m going to just take what you say about the ADF and Netanyahu as fact because it’s 11pm and I cbf researching it.

The fact is that the left and the right seem to take turns wanting Jews dead. The Trump administration is supportive of Israel and progressives want to see it and its inhabitants destroyed. Antisemitism isn’t Trump’s flavour of fascism. It’s why people like Ben Shapiro can give him a pass - he’s just not a threat from that point of view.

Just saying he’s not antisemitic isn’t even the point. Hell I don’t even see many people calling Elon a Nazi. Just that he did a Nazi salute. Because he did.
