We are masters of the dumb challenge when chasing the game that is obviously yellow and allows the opposition to waste a minute.

In the end Spurs simply didn't have enough quality to punish Newcastle for slacking off in the second half.

There's only 6 sides with a realistic shot at finishing top 4 this season, as great as it would be for Bournemouth, Brighton or Brentford to do it.

yeah but im not exactly convinced by our defensive output over the last few months either.

That's the issue, one which doesn't seem to have any immediate solution. They're very poor out of possession at the moment and are now having to survive with less of the ball than they used to. So really they need to just be quite efficient and damaging going forward, which they still sort of have the attributes to pull off.
