By "feel" you mean "the utter contempt that the goo chugging #standbyhird mob deserve" right?
They were only defending their club which most of us would have done

Yeah, I can understand defending one's club, but many * fans just went far, far too far in their delusion and blind faith in someone like Hird. Like, it was actually scary.

Im glad his hatred of Hawthorn is some way contributed to his actions and his demise.
Haters gunner jab.
Jabbers gunner ruin a century old clubs reputation
Hird’s claim he hated Hawthorn more than any other team.

Hird said his childhood left him no choice but to despise the Hawks.

“I watched Hawthorn beat Essendon in the 1983 grand final and I cried for three hours,” he said.

“I watched Dipper knock out Kevin Walsh in the 1984 grand final.

“I hated Hawthorn, i just hated them.

“Every time I played against Hawthorn I wanted to beat them because of the memories I had as a kid.

Couldn't help but think of, as a Perth Glory supporter, the salary cap scandal from last season. A lot of us were very torn, we wanted to back the club but we all knew Tony Sage was as dodgy as they came! I think Essendon supporters probably should have recognised their admin was a bunch of crooks as well and made their peace with this sooner ;)

I hated James Hird way back when he bagged out the Umpires..
