Those who have been here a little while might be familiar with the mid-season (and end-of-season) survey.

I decided to take responsibility of the survey this season, but I did things a little differently. My contention was that the public nature of the thread was skewing responses, so I PMed the 50 most relevant posters in the league to find out what they thought on all things Sweet.

Thank you to the 44 posters who sent through their responses over the last few weeks. I'm not disappointed in the six who didn't - I'm angry.

If nothing else, this first question revealed how many comedians we have in the league; of the 44 respondents, nine provided what was clearly a joke response, including things like "In the Sweet Football Association", "[insert current team]", and "Ophidian Old Boys". I've combined these responses into one section, which was actually more than any individual team.

Of the 13 teams, four received no nominations at all. The Coney Island Warriors led the way with seven nominations, adding weight to TheInjuryFactory's algorithm-based thread that recently revealed the Warriors as the #1 team on the Season 38 Power Rankings. The Mount Buller Demons (six responses) closely followed. The Gumbies, Wonders, Bombers, Roys, Dragons, Royals, and Swamprats were also appealing for at least one voter.

please pm the names of the 2 or 3 or whatever it works out to be posters that chose the Wonders for no reason other than fold their current clubs.
