Expansion League Draft Thread 08/09

OK we are under way.

DRAFT RULES

* Please post your draft number, player, their team and their position.

* Managers are responsible for keeping track of whom they have drafted and
what positions they still need filling.

* Drafting is not enforced until Monday, 1st October from 8pm AEST. From there after, each manager has 24 hours to make their selection.

*Time to select your player will be reduced to 12 hours as of October 14, 8pm AEST.

*If the manager does not make his pick in the specified, the draft will continue and they can take their pick when they return online. If 5 more picks have been taken from the pick that was missed, then the draft will be halted and next highest O-ranked player will be assigned to that manager, and the draft will again continue.

*Managers have to be aware when a pick before them is missed because if their pick is more than 5 picks ahead of the missed pick and the missed pick has not been assigned a player by the commisioner, all subsequent picks will be null and void.

* Time to select your player will be reduced to 12 hours as of October 14, 8pm AEST.

* Trading of draft picks and players during the draft period ARE ALLOWED.

* If you do not think you will be online in that time, please forward a shortlist to myself or someone else who will be online, and we will make your selection for you.

* Once you make your pick, it's final.

* If you have any other problems, let me know.

Yeah the rules say 24 hour rule won't be enforced until 8pm tonight so if he hasnt picked by 8pm tommorrow night he will get next O-ranked player and i can stop micro analysing my pick.

Can we re-write the rules and once a pick is missed, that person must accept the auto pick until such time as they re-surface?

I can see us just missing yahoo's 2008-09 deadlines, but we should be good for 2009-10.
