Seriously annoy me.

Want to make my trades tonight but McGlynn is named on an extended bench so hes no guarantee to play, so im not gunna trade him in unless his certain to play. And i don't have access to the internet tomorrow as im moving to WA!! So ill be in transit all day/most of the night.

Mega pain in the butt, agree'd?

Also, what time do the final teams come out anyway?
 
Yes very annoying the old extended bench, as I have T Tuck and Cheney. Need Cheney to play.. Cockie can play for T Tuck and I prefer if Tuck didn't play as he would be good to offload next week. Big BE this week of 108.. Highly unlikely. I reckon, don't shoot me here, but I think Cheney may get retained. Really impressive last week and just the one notable clanger.. However, I thought Broughton looked good too. He may travel over to cover Headland and Mundy.:thumbsu:

Headland isn't a certainty to play, he still needs to get through tomorrow's training, and if he doesn't you'd imagine Broughton would be the first player in.

The only question is if we will find out before lockout, Freo might just hold onto the information like with Chappy last week.
 
I was wanting to get Broughton into my side this week to take over from injured Rance, might not play Cheney or shithouse Suban but with him not playing I'm warry seeing as he could so easily not be seen for a few weeks, much like his last game.

But if I don't grab the guy then Ill be down about 80k according to TS if he keeps up his average

WHAT ARE the chances of him actually playing?

Even if he does play, this proves that he's a fringe player at the Dockers which is not what we all thought. Do you want a guy with such suspect job security in your team? In 1 week, out for 2, emergency for 3, in for 2, etc

I am asking myself the same question as I had him ready to trade in this week
 
I know, I feel the pain.

I can't believe ******* Suban is still in, while walker and petrenko got massive runs/are still running in other teams while poor broughton who is better than all three of tehm can't get 3 games out of the first 9.

A player who can't get the games is no use, but he is a perfect cash cow, can definately play on field if need be, is very cheap, scores well and consistantly, will build alot of csah.

ONLY DOWNSIDE he can't be a bloody fking game! :( he's the ablett of cash cow's if ablett was always dumped.

Looks like it will be only Grimes in.. which means I could move Kraky.

I told myself I wouldn't move krak as he would go up again.. But I don't know how much of that was, I don't have ane xtra trade, he stays of weather that was what I thought.

This week krak plays HB on the wing. Will he get enough points... hmm...

That also brings in another problem. as if cheney doesn't play then I have a 0 in the backline. and fwd line thanks to macaffer who has for some reason been dropped.

Broughton

Players who have long runs or are still playing yet shouldn't ever be allowed to play
Walker
Petrenko
Barham.. spud... can't actually use the ball, buddy its not tennis, you are allowed to hold teh ball...
 
I was either going to hold Krak or upgrade him to Buddy because Suban-Broughton would add to my bank to give me enough cash to get Ablett back

Now I either cross my fingers on Broughton being named next week and cashing out then. But what if he doesn't? I'll need to scramble some dodgy rookie into my team for a cash grab to get Gazza back.

So I'm coming back to my least preferred option intially of Krak-Sidebottom $270K. Sidebottom I see is named in the centre.

I need the cash basically and don't feel so confident on Broughton anymore.

So I don't know what to do yet.

How can a guy who finds his own ball and gives it his all plus scores in the 70's sc point wise in both his games get dropped ahead of mental short people like Suban and DeBoer? :rolleyes:

Harvey has alot to answer for. I really want an explanation from him as to why Broughton was dropped. Its like Freo are starting to think about tanking now since they lost to the Hawks last week.

And Freo wonder why people think they are a basket case of a club for. Broughton getting dropped is all you have to reply with....

Oh and the fact that they suck at drafting, trading, have spud coaches, have no fricken idea at anything, have awful guernsey colours, an awful song, etc, etc. LOL! :p

What is it with people thinking that coaches should look at supercoach ranking points when selecting the side??

of course they should!! we are trying to make important decisions here about the future of the world (our teams) and they are chopping and changing players to try and win a bloody football match. FFS!!! :mad:

People here probably don't mean the coaches should look at supercoach ranking points when picking/dropping players. It's just us people here live & breath SC soo much we tend to talk about players results by points received not possessions etc.(We really need to get a life):eek::p
Anyway I think what people mean when they are talking about say Broughton is when a first year player like him is scoring around 70ppg. He has most likley to have had a reasonably good game possession & efficiency wise so why drop him.:confused:

I was suprised to see him get demoted to emergency. I thought he showed a hell of a lot more compared to Suban, DeBoer and basically half the entire Freo side.

It made my decision between Grimes and Broughton +100k a lot easier.

However, it would not surprise me if he gets named this week as Headland is no certainty from what I understand. It will mean that he will go up ~70K and all those that don't have him would have missed the boat.

I wouldn't be too worried about him not getting many games this year. Freo is on a bit of a high at the moment after winning a few games. Once they start losing again they will push the youth and Broughton will get plenty of games.

+1. What is with people actually thinking posters are serious when they say 'x scored more sc than y so why was he dropped?'. Theyre saying x is a better player than y not Mark Harvey log on to fanfooty and have a look at the fantasy scores before picking your team

Apparantly this model has an extra large butter compartment in the front!:D

Wel considering he's probably been kicking back on his couch eating and watching tv for hours on end, and then there was his reported "summer ton" ;) I would say the brand would be LG - Life's Good.

His price isn't worth a trade... and odds are he will drop even further this week.

I'm just hoping, at some stage, this season, he will come good. If he ends up averaging 90-100 I'll be happy enough.
