Which part shouldn't we believe? That Lawson is a dickhead? I think his decision to give Perez the finger while overtaking is proof of that.

Lawson may have been setup to fail by the abysmally poor decision making at Red Bull, compounded by a car design which is tailored to Max's requirements and almost undriveable by anyone else. He can also be a complete and utter dickhead, and all evidence to date suggests that he is. The two are not mutually exclusive.
If a sportsman having white line fever means they're a dickhead then that means every sportsman ever is a dickhead

Seems like they ignored him after Max wanting to keep Checo last year
Max wants to keep these drivers to fulfil his agenda.
Lawson is the second driver, clearly.
Tsunoda on the team potentially makes him a number 1 driver if Max doesn’t perform.
Verstappen is worried that the team may have a McLaren situation where it’s two number 1 fighting for points.

Yeah, nah! It's the whole package - his behaviour in the car, and the way he portays himself in D2S.

The kid is a knob. End of.
Hardly fair.
Sure Lawson may be a bit of an arrogant young man but he’s not the first one. You have to be confidence and a dick to be in F1. It’s every man wanting to win at all cost.

Just find it unfair Liam only gets two races when there’s been horrendous drivers in years gone by

I don't think he's worried about losing to Yuki, or Checo, or Liam, or anyone that isn't maybe Sainz, Alonso, Hamilton or Leclerc. Even any of them I'm sure he believes he can beat in equal machinery.

Max wants the car to be improved rather than the team focussing on the second driver. That's what wins him the championship.

Is that the same DTS show you constantly slate for being over dramatised and inaccurate?

You can't have both.
Hard to say they're over dramatising things when the persona they portray him having in the show is EXACTLY the same persona he shows himself at F1 events.

D2S is definitely guilty of over-egging things at times, and fudging the facts to fit their narrative at others. There's nothing to suggest that they have done so with Lawson.

So you're a bit of a hypocrite then.

Except that the odds of Tsunoda challenging Verstappen's hold on the #1 status at Red Bull are slightly lower than the odds of my Grandmother (who has been dead for 10 years) digging her way out of her grave and walking from Adelaide to Melbourne to watch the 2026 Australian F1 GP.

Thats a big pile of nonsense.

No, it's called critical thinking.

Having watched the 2024 F1 season, I was aware when they pulled crap like deliberately failing to mention Russell's DQ at Spa, because it didn't fit their agenda.

Similarly, having watched the 2024 F1 season, I'd seen Lawson's behaviour on-track. His D2S interviews were consistent with what we'd observed outside the show.

Critical thinking allows people to determine when D2S are playing silly games, and when they're portraying things as they actually were. People who lack the critical thinking ability would assume that just because D2S sometimes lather things with extra mayo, that they always do it. This is patently false thinking.

The precedence is (sort of) there. In 2009, Luca Badoer replacing an injured Felipe Massa qualified and finished last in his two races, Kimi won one of them, then he was booted for Fisichella.

That's some Olympic level mental gymnastics right there
