I'm surprised something hasn't been started up on the Farrer League already. Although not from a FL club, am a keen follower. Anyone got any thoughts on the current finals series. Are the Jets home???

Re: Farrer League

Good to see a Farrer League thread up and running. As a former player in the league and now living in Melbourne there isn't much information available only results on the website.
Hope the Jets get up for another premiership, they have been dominating everyone- but I suppose you can never discount Collingullie and Marrar for that matter.

Re: Farrer League

Jets did it pretty easy on the weekend by all reports. Ended up beating Marrar by 50 odd points. Marrar now take on Collingullie this week in the preliminary.
Interesting to see the league medal on tonight. If you go by the paper, Jarred Gornall is the one to beat but from what I've heard this year, Brad Aiken from Gullie and Dave Pieper from The Rock will also be up there. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Re: Farrer League

Thoughts about the Grand Final this weekend?

Would be great to see Hardy and the Jets go all the way in both grades - they have been the best teams in both grades all year and I think they will be both premiers come Saturday night. Will be a big week in both Ardlethan and Ariah Park if both teams win again.

The merger of both clubs has certainly been a resounding success - would the Jets be keen to re-enter the RFL??

with the amount of coin the Jets spend each year they should be made play in the RFL.I wanna know how a team that relies so heavily on farming can afford to throw the money around the way they do?arent we in the middle of the biggest drought ever?

Farrer League Coach

Anyone have info on who Marrar are after to Coach them next Year?

Was talking to Corey Pavitt the other day and he let it slip that he was going to talk to Marrar don't know if it was about coaching or just playing. He wouldn't say any more.:D

Re: Farrer League Coach

North Wagga definitely back again next season then?
Would Pavitt bring any players with him?

Pavitt to Nth Wagga :eek:I don't think so, but than again 3rd baby on the way late Jan so maybe $$$$$$$$$ might get him there:D. I am sure he is looking to coach somewhere but it would be a lot easier to just turn up and play for the $$$$$$$$ than coach.

hey Banggoal u hear anything on Pav going to Nth Wagga.

Re: Farrer League Coach

Com on boys things have gone very quiet.Someone has got to have some news. Heard Big George is set to join his mate Jiffy at TRYC and Ash Dickenberg moving to Albury and set to join the mighty Osborne Cats.

Re: Farrer League

word is marrars coach will be announce next week, also molks to sign for a rfl club this weekend!

Heard yesterday that mango are leading the race for mulchi's services..... Dunno why he is leaving Marrar after just one season???? especially when they went alright? must be other issues involved, money?, a lady friend perhaps?

Georgey to the rock might be happening but you need to weigh up any blokes that would leave because of it???? Personally I like the bloke but a few just don't seem to see eye to eye with the big fella.... Still worth 70-80 goals sitting in the square in farrer i'd imagine

Re: Farrer League

Big rumour Corey Pavitt is in discussions with a certain Farrer League club again. The same one he was rumoured to be coaching earlier on this thread.

Re: Farrer League

With a midfield like The Rock's delivering the ball in, George would kick 70 or 80 easy i'd imagine. Him and JB deep in the forward line starts to sound pretty imposing. Especially now with Macca joining Pieps etc in the midfield.
And yeh you hit the nail on the head with Molk by the sounds of it chewy, lady dramas meant no more Marrar for Molk...

Re: Farrer League

just throwing it out there for debate.
With the Farrer League signing the big players this yr and the RFL losing players. is the gap between the better teams of the leagues closing or if not just as good as each other?
