Not footy, but this is/was my happiest/proudest moment as an Aussie Sports fan



Can't believe it was almost 20 years ago.

Cricket fans can say otherwise, but no other male (or female) national sports team ever united the nation like The Socceroos back then!

This was before all the FIFA/Sepp Blatter corruption/scandal and the Beautiful Game was still innocent and beloved universally by almost all.

What an magical and amazing night to be an Aussie. Maybe the best sporting moment in our nation's history since we won the America's Cup !!
