Hall of Famer
Hello friends.
I have uploaded FFGenie 2010.1 to the FFGenie website. http://ffgenie.sf.net
Java 5 or higher is required. Although I've only tested my own setup Windows XP, this should run on all Windows (including Windows 7), Macs and Unix and Linux distributions that have a Java 5 or higher installed.
The recommended way to run the program is through the link on the home page (Big black link 'Run FFGenie'). This will download and cache the latest version on your hard disk, and when you launch the program in subsequent sessions, it will only redownload if a new version has been released. This should also create a link in your OS's Program Manager (e.g. the Start menu in Windows). You can then use that link to launch the program, and it should work even if you're not connected to the net.
If you want to download your own copy for your own convenience, go to https://sourceforge.net/projects/ffgenie/ and download FFGenie2010.1.zip (FFGenie2010.1-src.zip is the source files, only for those interested in the code). Unzip the contents of the zip and if you have Java installed correctly, you can double click FFGenie.jar and the program should start.
There is no new functionality yet, this is basically the same version as 2009 but with the 2010 players and prices updated. I have made the program a little more robust if you have previous year's data files or user teams loaded, it will display an error dialog instead of crashing. If you have still have issues please let me know.
Note: The splashscreen still says 2009.4, don't worry about it. I have lost the code that generates that picture. Looks like I'll have to code a new screen from scratch.

Yo it's up, version 2012.1
For most of you that will be from http://www.ffgenie.com
For those interested in the code, it's at http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffgenie
User Teams doesn't work, I forgot all about that but it's useless at the moment.
I had trouble myself launching it, if you get an error saying something along the lines of "the JARs are not signed by the same certificate as the jnlp file" you need to clear your Java cache. For Windows users, that's located in the Java item in your Control Panel. Click on "View..." under "Temporary Internet Files" and then clear the FFGenie bits under each tab. Sorry I'm not sure of the equivalent for Linux and Mac.
