We know we have a Lions fan in Adam on Gogglebox but have recently noticed in the background of the couple, he in singlet and always with a can in his hand, she with blond hair, best of the lot imo, anyway there is a photo of what looks like a Lions player. Can't tell how recent it is, could be a Fitzroy player..

They're stopping music after goals across the AFL. I actually enjoyed the way we did it, there was actually a method to it and it got the crowd into the game.

I thought that was just for the grand final/finals. I enjoy it at the Gabba, but thought it was pretty annoying at the prelim on Friday.

Playing ACDC on repeat is horrendous. Well picked songs like country road and jesse's girl get the blood pumping.

Sorry for going down a serious track but i think Michael Christian and the MRO need another 2 people added to the panel. Different ideas can be thrown around without players having to rely on one persons opinion for their penalty. Majority rules on the penalty after that.

Was playing a game of the original blue Trivial Pursuit one day (many many years after it came out) and there was a question along the lines of "What band had a recent hit with (can't remember the song)" and the answer was 'The Skyhooks'
Well the person who was trying answer that question was iirc 21 and when we looked up the date of the game it came out in around 1983 and the kid hadn't even been born yet.
Note - I still have the same set and questions so even more out of date now but I image the guys in the over 50's mob would enjoy it!

I did something similar many years ago (helping to build schools so a touch different) and once my children are older, hope to do so again , but good on Hugh for giving up his time for such a worthy cause.
