Continued in Part 2

He really was and it was such a shame his years in Brisbane were blighted by his injuries.

Boyd almost single handedly carried Fitzroy in its final years (no disrespect to many others) but had he been at one of the bigger Victorian clubs, or remained at Collingwood (think he played u/19's with them), he would have been a household name.

He, Champion and Kennedy are the three I always felt for most. All three missed out. I I only saw Boyd when he played for Brisbane, was by far the best of those three.

Yer, the game is quite entertaining, not much tagging or defensive running which is what you would expect... however every time Charlie, Lachie, Harris or Stef go near the ball I'm clenching my teeth hoping for no injuries, agree with Maroon Monsoon Charlie looking electric.

Big game player. Shame he hurt his elbow in the finals

I don't think stef has lost a hit out since he's been on. Master-class in ground work in the ruck

Edit: spoke to soon, and a loss to give up a goal!

Jesus dusty for best on field? That's about as ridiculous as buddy getting AA captain in 2018. Greene would be marginally annoyed (I'd have said filthy but let's be honest, who cares)

So that was a bit of a dud. Didn’t seem
like a real game to me - lots of keeping it even in the first three quarters and the all stars seemed to continue with the ‘this is a display’ attitude while the vics started to actually play in the fourth.

Having said that - lachie on, all stars went well, lachie off vic went well. What a superstar.

Charlie is pure magic.

Harris’s heart rate sits around 50 and never moves. So solid and calm.

I was a bit surprised Steph was called up, really glad his years of professionalism were rewarded with selection. He wasn’t the best if the rucks tonight but he held his own.

Not a supporter of state of origin after this game. And can’t wait for the real stuff to start.
