Far out I haven't watched FC for a couple of years, Hutchy must have doubled in size in that time. Has the amount of rubbish coming out of his mouth changed in proportion to the amount of rubbish he's obviously putting into it?

Chortle chortle 🤭

The midfield revolves around Cripps and Cerra is stuck on the outside. Thought he enjoyed his football more at Fremantle developing year by year. Had a decent one last season before he left
Always felt as though his ceiling was lower than Brayshaws, just kept plateauing with his incremental growth for those 4 years before he finally become something decent and now he's been found out a bit and it's hilarious.

Don’t think he really was keen to leave. You hope he gets better rapport and chemistry with Cripps and Hewitt. However he did seem to be more connected with Serong, Brayshaw and Darcy.

He couldn’t wait to get out of the place, surprised he stuck it out for 4 years.

He is a completely different player to the one that was here. He was never an inside player, but he could compete if needed, there he is literally shitting his pants.

those panic'd kicks wow.

Maybe he got used to guys at Freo giving him screens so he had more time to dispose. Some of that kicking is diabolical just throwing it on the boot not even looking with a decent amount of space. wow. horrible vision.

Former Fremantle Dockers ruck Zac Clarke has been slapped with a ban for a scary on-field incident which left a fellow former AFL player with a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain.
Clarke was playing for Doncaster East in Melbourne’s Eastern Football Netball League when chased St Kilda player Eli Templeton towards the boundary-line, before pushing him in the back and sending him into a water container and over a wire fence.
Templeton hit his head on a footpath just outside the fence with some force. Spectators and players appeared visibly distressed by the incident as trainers rushed to help.

Clarke was given a two-week ban but the league’s tribunal on Tuesday night, but Templeton’s club, the Balwyn Tigers are reportedly set to appeal the decision, believing the sanction to be inadequate.
The match was abandoned after an ambulance was called in the third-quarter, with the Tigers handed the win because they led at the time.
Balwyn president Richard Wilson said Tempelton’s condition had improved and he was expected to make a full recovery.
“He spoke on the phone last night (Saturday), he’s cognitive and speaking and passing all the tests, which means he’s basically going to be OK,” he said.
Clarke played 101 games for Fremantle between 2009 and 2016, including all three of the club’s finals appearance in its only grand final season in 2013.
He then spent time at WAFL club Subiaco, before being thrown an AFL lifeline for one season by Essendon in 2019.

There are two matches remaining in he EFNL’s regular season, but Doncaster are set to play finals, which means Clarke would be available if the Tigers’ appeal fails.
They currently have an 11-5 record and it will be the club’s first finals appearance in the league’s top division.
Templeton spent three years at St Kilda for a total of 14 games before being de-listed. He is currently listed at VFL club Port Melbourne.
On Sunday, the Saints posted a message for the former player on their social media.
“Our thoughts are with former Saint Eli Templeton,” the post read.
“Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.”

Football Netball League? Is that legit? Does he play Wing Attack or Wing Defence?

Gee. Clarke having any sort of aggro in him. A bit late now isn’t it

Matty dB retiring. What an excellent example of hard work and determination- managing 220+ games off the rookie list.

well done Matt.

Got the absolute most out of himself. And the fact that he retired before playing 100 games for the orange team means we have first dibs on any kids.

Most of the country teams here in Victoria are Football Netball Clubs.

Why do they call the league that though?
The clubs can have whichever name they want, but the league is the game they're playing. Strange times.

edit I just saw FreoRicci reply that the league is exclusively for joint clubs only to play in? Still strange, but I get it now.

Yeah pretty much that. Leagues following the clubs' lead I think.

Here's the presser on EFNL rebranding: EFNL ANNOUNCES REBRAND | Eastern FNL

It would be nice for Matty De Boer to play in the last round against us so Mundy & GWS Player can chair him off at manuka.
The article on the AFL website seems to suggest he's retired immediately and won't play in their last two games
