Foxtel - how atrocious has it become year after year?

What about things like Fox Footy? Is that 24/7 to view like it would on fox?

Like if I wanted to watch AFL360 (stop laughing) or a 30 for 30 on ESPN.

Yeah, you can just stream Fox Footy all day and watch whatever comes on.
Or you can select individual shows/games and watch on demand.

It has a free trial, give it a crack and you can see if you like it or not.

That’s part of streaming unfortunately. Can’t see it changing soon. Happens worldwide.

Kayo is a good deal and will probably switch to it at some stage but I still like the convenience of having the box. Internet would probably also have to get upgraded to run it well and it does drop out occasionally here.

It's only $10 a week, waste money on a lot worse things than that tbh.

Kayo has been pretty good for me. I've had it down to a 6 second delay compared to the Foxtel feed before. This was on espn for an NBA game though so not sure if AFL games abide by different rules.

Heres a tip. Dont look at your phone whilst watching the game. Who does that? Wait for a break.

But i watch with friends interstate like we used to when in same city.
i get it its a feature of streaming. If everyone streamed it would be fine. But some stream and some cable or satellite so its an issue in my eyes

Foxtel were trying so hard for me to stay after 11 years lols

I'm not paying $60-70 a month just for Foxfooty and if i want entertainment and movies I have Netflix

Has anyone tried for getting netflix with foxtel on the cheap? Would they offer that? I was going to say to them give me Foxtel and Netflix for $41($54 per month with everything but movies) or I walk and just get kayo and netflix seperate for the cost of $41 p/m

You dont think being forced to watch shows only when they are on is outdated technology? Streaming means you have all the content available whenever you want. Thus makes foxtel outdated. Gees foxtel still makes you pay extra on a montlhy basis to record shows and use HD.

Most of their shows are available to stream also.and i do that for tv shows i watch.
but I use it to watch live sport mostly, live not 10-30 seconds delayed on streaming.
plus each account gets 5-6 logons for tablet or phone devices if away from home or you want to watch something different to someone else
