Foxtel - how atrocious has it become year after year?

With the foxtel now you can stream from your phone/tablet to your tv. You can’t do that with the normal foxtel app. I reckon they just want you to order the extra boxes to be able to watch in different rooms. If the basic app let you do that then less people would get the extra box.
Mostly watch Sport and Skynews

Some of the posters on the motor board will tell you the only way to watch live motorsport is on Foxtel

I think it is atrociously greedy of them not to give Foxtel (satellite or cable) subscribers access to Foxtel Now.

Going to shit? Fox8 has always been shit besides old Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy repeats and WWE (dodgy too now). It's a channel for stuff Foxtel know nobody will pay extra for. According to Jim used to be on every ****ing day.

I think he means Foxtel Go (what conventional subscribers get) is crappier than Foxtel Now.

If you are paying for what is their premium at home product i would have thought the second rate product could be an added benefit.
At very least the shitty version of Foxtel Go of whatever it is called that subscribers get should be able to be played through an app on Smart TVs etc.

Well...yeah sure. I mean, my folks have Foxtel...if they get free Foxtel Now, that means I can use it where I live, and save money! Let’s do it! Also, they can get rid of the multi-room boxes too...that should save them $40 a month and me $44.
See why Foxtel might be against it? I don’t care if they do it, but I can certainly understand why they don’t...
If you don't want to watch live sport then save you're $$$ people

Same. Although I might be shut out of my DirecTV Now account access very soon, so I’ll rely on Foxtel again for my HBO stuff...

As like alot of people I only use it for Sport. Took the Foxtel Now option because I can cancel anytime and it's cheaper. It's a shame they don't have MAX on there because it's the best music channel they have.
I will say that actually paying for your subscription is one of the most infuriating things you have to deal with. I have to use my mobile data to do so as the foxtel website login doesn't load because I'm not with Telstra for my WIFI which is ridiculous and even when I can log in the payment section doesn't work half the time! Seriously need to sort their shit out.
