The Fighting Furies are incredibly proud to have our gun Full Forward, top tier poster, and all-round good bloke ShaunDuggan as the Season 38 Fred Medallist!



Shaun booted 76 goals in 16 games across the regular season (avg 4.75pg) to spearhead the Furies return to finals, continuing the stellar form he has shown since arriving at the Hippodrome in S35. Recruited to the Furies with the promise of a prominent position to match his posting prowess, Shaun has more than repaid the faith shown in him with S38 seeing his fourth Tarks Medal (Furies' goalkeeping award) on the trot, maiden Fred Medal, and a likely (barring any shenanigans) overdue return to the All-SFA team for his third selection.



Please join the Fighting Furies in acknowledging someone who has been one the Sweet FA's unsung heroes. Across 471 games and 3 Premierships, Shaun has been one the competition's best and most consistent; if anyone deserves a moment in the sun, it is most definitely SHAUN FREAKIN' DUGGAN!!
