Every game style has its own risks. I’m old school, I just like players who can kick goals.

Yeah agreed we need to turf the guys who try hard but don't kick goals. I like Walters, switta, Emmett but we need goddamn goals

The real reason is lack of composure after we were up. When Port kicks a behind and we can't exit our d50, that's where we lose, and that's where we lost last week before the umpires got them over the line. When Bergman is out marking Jackson down the line who can't even force a contest or get it over the boundary, that's where we're losing the game. When we have a centre clearance and Jackson gets walked all over by Soldo and Port go straight in that's where we lost the game.

We could've won the game with 9 goals. Port did.

Correct call ,we hardly ever challenge the opposition from a kick in (maybe twice this year when we kicked to Nat one out in the middle) Lyon is gone but JLO has carried on the tradition of kick to a pack near the boundary

Opposition teams will just target Jackson knowing he struggles as the game goes on as sole ruck. Surely Jl has seen it before

The tell tell sign is sharp gets monstered in the forward line in the last few minutes and there are 5 port players around him and not one of our forwards. Poor football and poor effort

Sharp did fumble it but then did his best to hold it up while being mobbed by port players, zero support came to lock it in or create a ball up, where was everyone???

Really it was just another of many really poor entries into the forward fifty, with the ball either intercept marked or turned over and rebounded quickly.

Emmett has been kicking the last two weeks. He’s growing.

Walters and Switkowski? Fumbly. Don’t get the ball enough, and hardly in danger spots to have a shot

Maybe we should consider just playing Son Son at home for a while. He's one of the few parents in our team, and being away for that period of time would be difficult for someone in that situation. He has been off, but maybe he's just not happy? The FIFO guys could relate to this.

Exactly. Add in Darcy , Freddy, Chappy and throw Jackson forward...Then towards finals potentially get back Cox....we're doing alright.
