Just rewatched the Butters hit and why are people acting like we could've generated a game winning shot from there? We actually had a better chance of a shot just playing on from it. If Serong takes the hands cleanly then he's got a wide open look. He fumbles it/Pearce puts too much on it and we stuff up a golden opportunity.

Actually multiple fumbles in that play. Serong can't get the ball cleanly, Switta slips over when he should've been blocking Aliirs run, Sharp can't pick it up cleanly.

Our game was devoid of x-factor.

We fix that next week by playing Darcy and Jackson goes forward. I’m playing Josh Draper forward also with Frederick on the wing with licence to go for long shots on goal.
Switta and Johnson to play peel or in Switta’s case, maybe a week off.
I’m resting Jaeger next week too and Erasmus plays full game.

How is he suppsoed to earn a spot? Through dominating in WAFL? Because he does that all the time, and when we make him travel as an emergency then he misses out on even that avenue too.

Neither Johnson nor JOM have done enough to hold their spot in the 22. Erasmus should be given a chance to prove himself over one of them. It's not fair that he only comes on at the most heated and intense moments of every game and then expected to do enough to earn himself a spot in the team.

8-9 possessions isn’t showing me they are ready yet. Simpson impressed me at times in PS games so I’m sure he’ll get his chance. He has suffered a few big hits, minor injuries and now Illness so I’ll cut him some slack.

Delean has some tricks but for mine is too raw for AFL and I wouldn’t get your hopes up just yet based on what I’ve seen at Peel (for him to get a debut anytime soon).

I think a good run at it for Peel Cooper Simpson will definitely be in the mix. Delearn needs a bit more consistency. Zero tackles recorded against East Perth. Only 6 possessions the week before against Subiaco. At times looks like a young fella straight out of colts. I do think he is promising but a fair bit of work ahead and rawness is why he went so late in the draft.

Some players do better when they step against more difficult company.
Maybe Cooper is one of those
