Lets just shake on it now and go to the pub.
Hopefully we use the year to fix the midfield. Their lack of ball-winning ability and accountability is just awful. Nobody can say with a straight face that our midfield is good enough.
Try some other forward options and try and find a draft pick from somewhere to get a quality goal-kicking small forward who has a clue how to read the spill and either kick a goal or create something. Drop or reposition underperforming midfielders, I don't care what their name is.
Thought we played well in most of the last quarter (shame the game goes for four).
Spend the money and get a quality stoppage/clearance coach, once and for all. Our structures around the stoppage and our clearance work is puke

Didnt even bother watching the game tonight as I thought this might happen. Thought i'd much better spend my time on something else useful, like being with friends and family.
Now that it's happened, i think i'm done with this club. 28 years of so much support i've given, so much money and time, yet they make stupidly poor decisions which make us a laughing stock. I'm sick of it.
Tonight is the night i tear up my support for this club. will i choose someone else? NO. just back to the WAFL for me.

That’s why I’m out. I said it last year and they sucked me back in. This time I’m done. Will watch with some interest, but no emotional investment. Maybe I’m a fair weather supporter - but I reckon not.

I understand where you're coming from to some extent but Treacy and Amiss have played two of the worst games ever witnessed the past fortnight. Treacy had 2 kicks and 0 marks last week. Amiss had 1 kick and 2 marks tonight. Both looked completely out of their league and that's without them attracting the best opposition defenders. Tabs has been near useless but in his 3 quarters last week and 2.5 this week he's taken more marks this season than Amiss, Jackson and Treacy combined. More than Darcy too.

This is the part that kills me .
A good draft too (that’s universally acknowledged) with some great young WA kpfs plus some genuinely good all round fwds tipped for top 10.
Jackson’s young and I’m pretty sure he ll come good but the decision to part with our future first AND a second as part of the deal is going to haunt us .
I really don’t know where the club goes from there but I’d almost be willing to go all chips in and trade our 24 1st in to start attempting to get some A grade fwd talent in

Explain to me why a 29 year old key forward who averages less than two goals per game should continue to play for Fremantle.

You can be pissed at two things at once. Had we drawn it would’ve been as bad as a loss but at least e would’ve had two points.
But we did win the ball. Inside 50s were 53-46
At half time Andrew Brayshaw had 15 possessions at 100% DE, Will Brodie finished with 94.1 DE and James Aish 86.7
That's superb delivery.
Can we please look at the obvious thing right in front of our face?
We stuffed the rebuild by spending all our capital on defenders, mids and an extraordinary amount on rucks. This was compounded by the fact that we let go too many good players who would have played in the positions we need (Cerra, Neale, Langdon, Hogan and Lobb particularly)
We don't have a good enough forward line to be a top team. It's questionable if we're even a good team. We're certainly not at the moment.
From the outside looking in surely its time for Johnson, Erasmus & Sturt to get some game time. Need an injection of class and flair. Unlike my team who have bugger all in VFL to bring in & the season as good as over.
