I don't get the Christian end times 2nd coming thing because the world is f**ked etc, etc, etc.
Obviously not good by any means but the world has never had less poverty, less violence, more tolerance, more education and rights of women etc, etc.
Why not come back sometime during the last 2000 years when it was so much worse? Would've been handy.

Gazza snr is entitled to his religious delusions just like anyone else. Loved him as a footballer (always will), but I don't agree with his religious beliefs or respect some of his actions outside football.

It's not really. It's not like he's a tin foil conspiracy guy or crazy or anything.
He's just Christian. It's what they believe. There's heaps of them.

I’m not so sure about that. Listening to him it’s the words of someone who appears to have some sort of delusion, even perhaps psychosis (maybe all devout Christians do?
). I’m pretty sure however most Christians would deem this rant to be on the margins at the very least.

He never speaks so obviously this is important to him. If you don't want to listen, fine but for those who want to be saved or are curious.
I don't expect a lot to listen to him but he is allowed his view. Its not as crazy as blowing up schools in the name of your religion. He speaks of love and saving the world.

You're dead right. I was brought up in an extremely religious environment (JW) and was constantly on the lookout for the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

As a kid, I always thought they must be some sort of band from the West Indies.
Probably because of dad and his Harry Belafonte records.
Ablett has an opinion and people on social media go into full deranged mode labelling him such things as a druggy, murderer and a church loving freak.
There would be a significant amount of these people who themselves or their family members would have issues with drugs.
Some of these people would also talk about showing love and compassion and sympathy to people that have addictions and/or have mental health issues but yet they choose to show none to Ablett.
It disgusts me the hypocrisy.
