The atmosphere here in SA for Gather Round was sensational last year - Lots of fans from interstate wearing their team's colours and soaking it in and its looking even better this year with more festivities and sideshows booked in! It makes sense that Adelaide would get this being that its in the middle of the country but I hope Perth is next in line and you all get to enjoy it too!
I'm keen on getting the stealth guernsey but both Rebel and the official AFL Stores haven't stocked any of the Gather Round guernseys, which is bemusing. Has anybody managed to snag one or is the stock on pre-order from the official Freo online store the only way?

I would use it as our Clash v Collingwood, Geelong, Sydney etc any lighter teams.
Blind Freddy can see some of the mercy eg; hats, Polos, jackets etc are going black or darker tones. Some of the training kits are black too. Think we are slowly stepping in that direction.
Feel like the white clash doesn’t look sharp enough. Black is closer to Purple so I think it should happen. Leaving the white v Bombers, Carlton, Port, Adelaide and Melbourne when away.

Don't mind it. Am guessing that means Carlton play in their white or away strip?! Is this unofficially considered a "home" game for Freo?

Actually, knowing FM - he's probably on an i-pad checking what was happening with Freo circa 2004 and how it compares 20 years later. Be like a game of where's wally probs.......
Love the stealth Guernsey. Snagged a long sleeve from the Freo store when it came it out.

Hopefully they have it at the stalls prior to the game tomorrow. I don't want to for a pre-order..
UPDATE:
Called the HQ in Cockburn - The stealth guernseys are an online Freo store exclusive and are almost sold out on pre-order.
Since checking, most of the long-sleeve sizes are out of stock but most of the regular guernseys are still available.
I was hoping for a long-sleeve so I'll have to hold until next year. I snagged a 'player's hood' instead, which looks awesome. This weekend is turning out to be quite a merch rabbit hole and hefty on the wallet, but gotta keep that good juju coming..

Some friends of mine were at that training session at Glenelg and sent pics. Black shorts confirmed. Well, for training at least…

I am not a fan but everyone is different.
I like the purple its a point of difference to the rest of the comp. And one of the reasons I started following Freo were a hit different.
But the club will make money out of it.
