M34 again. Anyone else have repeated issues with the cost doubling up (before checkout, 2x adult and 1x concession for Cat 3 would show as $794 instead of $397)?

Ticketek's site is third-rate at the best of times, but in previous years I'd go on during the afternoon and invariably score quality seats. Even managed front row tix at 10pm on the Tuesday night of the Hawthorn game (well, during the bye week when members' tix went on sale)! Never really worth the rush/panic IMO - almost gave up after 15 mins (until the site decided to work and spat out M34), whilst some rather large veins were starting to protrude from my co-worker's forehead.

Not sure how the AFL can expect 80,000 on Friday night when the Cat 3 tickets mentioned above cost $400. Almost fell off my seat when the pricing came up. For a Prelim Final, it's absolutely bloody criminal.

Such a crap system...know of people that think thyroid got tickets but no confirmation email. Do you buy again and risk doubling up? Very, very ordinary. In this day and age you should punch in your request then get directed to a map and pick your actual seats yourself.

Yep, that happened to me.

was tempted but it was over in about m 29/30 and have trouble seeing with the changing colours of stupid signage.

was given seats in your bay row L and Q but each time got oh no......

Same row as for the qual and almost the same seats

I was cat 3/bay 36 for the qualifying final, but that went up to $100+ this time.

So went for the m33 option at half the price - and at one stage I had multiple tickets in my cart cause of ticketek screwing up but when I actually got through to pay there was only 1 ticket and a better seat then the one I had been told I had.

I went to the Storm vs Sharks match last round of the NRL and the guy sitting beside me had a hip flask full of gin - I'm sure there is a way to sneak stuff in if you really want to.
