Is this your honest belief of what happened?

He doesn’t know what he believes anymore.

Every avenue of his excuse making about this ground bullshit has been shut down.

We play our ground well. We play his ground well.
We play Docklands well. And we play the interstate grounds well. Our record of being a quality side year upon year is foolproof and his inability to accept it just leads him down these rabbit holes and he’s basically forgotten what he was trying to say and every angle has been refuted. He can’t simply accept that a team can just be good.

In 1989 Cats played 8 games at the Costa Zoo, but in most seasons around then were playing 9. All Victorian teams played a couple of home games at Waverly.

Collingwood were down to 7 games at Vic Park at that time.

Carlton were still paying half their games at Princes Park.

Bombers were down to an average of around 8 home games at Windy Hill.

Fitzroy were playing at Princes Park but would not have trained there.

Hawks were playing at Waverley, but I think training at Glenferrie.

Melbourne would almost certainly have been prevented from training regularly at the MCG.

Richmond same.

North were playing about 9 home games at the MCG and same, prevented from training there.

Saints were playing about 9 most years at Moorabbin but played their last game there in 1992. They move to Waverley then later on to Marvel.

Bulldogs played at the Whitten Oval until 96, then all over the show until they settled at Marvel in 2000.

So you can see as all this started Geelong started to become more prominent. And by the time it was all complete at the turn of the century and Geelong started to build a strong team they have never looked back, their 9 games at the Costa Zoo, their training base, giving them a clear edge over every other team in the competition. They also play about 3-4 times as many games at the MCG compared to other teams who don't play home games there.

So tactically well played. But don't ever claim it doesn't give you an edge.

Which makes you think how soft geelong must be
Oh Geelong are soft, don’t worry. But Twent is obviously much softer. Do you think she went to the club first or straight to the media while Trent was hiding behind her apron? Do you think she even asked him how he’d like to deal with it or just took it upon herself? Wait who are we kidding, she obviously wears the pants. :$

It doesn’t give us an edge.

There I did it.

What are you gonna do, change 18 seasons of data at other venues that prove otherwise and scare everyone away in retribution?

So somehow Trent who had to have his wife defend him still humiliated the handbaggers in finals, dude how embarrassing

How exactly do you figure that playing 9 games per season on a ground that every opponent plays on about once in 50 matches, where you also do all(or nearly all) your training on the ground, a ground of such curious proportions a spectator on one wing can almost shake hands with a spectator on the opposite "wing" doesn't give you an edge?

How do you figure that a team with a record in the positive interstate, at the MCG, at Docklands and at KP, is making the finals because of KP?

Is it because we aren’t being sent to Neptune to play? Is that what it is? Is it because we don’t play under NRL rules when we have the ball and have to score tries? Is it because we don’t have to score under a convoluted golf system?

Keep going though.

This Meteor Rise guy certainly is something special. And I don’t mean in a ‘special’ way. 😆

68 per cent at Docklands
60 per cent at the MCG
54 per cent interstate

So in a standard year we would get maybe 6 games interstate now that gather round is a thing, sometimes 5. Roos playing in Hobart could impact that but let’s assume 6.

So we win 3 of them.
Leaves us 17 games at MCG and Docklands.

We win say, 65 per cent of them: that’s 11.

That’s giving us 14 wins in a 23 game season.

So in other words, the claim is this, summarised as succinctly as I can put it:

‘You guys - Geelong - if you had no home ground at all, since your golden period in 2011. SINCE, not including, but SINCE, that era, win AWAY from your home ground at a rate that, extrapolated over a sample size of 14 full seasons, would allow you to make the top 8 in any completed season in that period.’

Nah you’re right.

We’ve been a really, really ordinary side and it’s just those sidelines that have been kicking our goals.

Happy to.

Your advantage is so great in those 9 Costa Zoo games, it allows the club to put more resources into preparing for games at other venues.

No other team gets this luxury.

Barely any other teams train regularly on their home grounds, Suns and Giants the only 2 as far as I know.

So most interstate teams play 11 or 12 at their "home" ground. And their other 11-12 matches are played at venues they visit on average about once per year.

Geelong plays 9 at the ground they train on. 7-8 at a single other venue. And just 7-8 games at ground they play on mostly once or twice per season on average.

Richmond plays roughly 13 at the MCG where it never trains, and 10 other games at grounds they play 1-2 games on each year on average.

Even a blind reactionary could spot the difference there. The Cats get 9 games with a much bigger home edge than any other team has, and they only need to prepare for 7-8 foreign venues per year where most others are preparing for 10 or more.

Yawn.

Tl/dr.

One thing I do know despite not reading is that you wouldn’t have refuted anything.
