I dont buy too deeply into thr home ground advantage stuff overall tbh, the better teams win regardless usually. The only time it comes into play is if both teams are incredibly evenly matched then it can be a tipping point.
Absolutely geelong in terms of the home ground edge id probably call it, have easily thr biggest disasvantage.
Play about 5-6 games less a year at the MCG compared to clubs like richmond collingwood, so are not as used to it as other teams, and the ground we are more used to playing on we are disadvantaged with no home games come finals. Only a small handful of clubs get that treatment
Despite this disasvantage we still have won 4 premierships which was more often than not against very strong vic teams.
For a team that plays all its homs games at the MCG, its embarrasing how Richmond has still missed finals 24/34 years in the professional AFL era.

Imagine being on the negative side after facing Collingwood in Grand Finals, played on your own park. 
It would be tough for you guys to eat while you are busy choking all the time.

Their draft night is gonna be so sad. That’s what happens when you choke prelims. 1 decent kid a year (if they are lucky) won’t be able to counter the mass exodus of old players about to retire.

When you choke Prelims you don't get good draft picks. When you don't get good draft picks you choke Prelims. It's just a vicious cycle Cleany, they can't get out of it.

Richmond and Geelong have met in 12 league finals all-up, with the Tigers winning ten and losing two.
Richmond and Geelong have met in 3 league Grand Finals, with the Tigers winning two (1967 & 2020) and losing one (1931).
4 afl premierships compared to 3.
26/34 finals appearances compared to 10/34 finals appearances.

You don't seem too superior when we play you in finals.
We have been superior at the bare minimum 24 more years of the last 34 years over richmond.
All of those years richmond being laughed at and choking across home and away games, not even able to handle home and away heat and a side overall not capable of september heat

Why is Geelong v. Richmond a thing? It's not really fair on Richmond.

Richmond are a failed finals club and failed AFL team overall outside of a 4 year patch.
Honestly, outside of a brief 4 year patch, what on earth has Richmond enjoyed the last 34 years?? And now you are back to enbarrasing yourselves again, what are you going to enjoy for the next decade?
