Well it should be - apart from what he did with Costa way back - he did something very influential in Geel winning that flag on Saturday

And i will admit i was totally wrong ( because i wanted the Tim Kelly bounty - the draft picks we received on youth at the draft )

But Cook came out publicly at the time - and he is normally a reserved /conservative - keep your cards close to your chest type of bloke

Just quietly, Steve Hocking has been CEO for one year and in that year Geelong won the premiership. Not a bad effort!

I'm sure he would pi$$ himself laughing at the conspiracy theories from Richmond supporters. He was given the job of improving AFL as a spectacle and improving scores, which in some games were woefully low. I would think he achieved on both measures.

If these rule changes helped Geelong so much, why did they decide to change their game plan at the start this year? It's a mystery.

Anyway, congrats, SHocking. A completely professional administrator, no matter who he's working for.

Getting it right off field is such a big factor in getting it right on field. Balme coming in shook it up last time and Hocking this time. Based off Scott's speech, reading between the lines, he wasn't happy with the assistant coach purge but it had to happen. Ended up too stale.
