Hi Guys,
What a win! I created a geelong Cats Finals Series Highlights for 2022.
Hope you all enjoy and Go Cats!!

I'm amazed you could condense it to under 10 minutes. :)

IMO, Jack Henry. Speaks really well, quality player, brave.. My gut feel is he'll be in the leadership group very soon and is my choice for the next in line after the next in line
exactly my thoughts

Hawkins looked absolutely spent today, reckon he hasnt slept for 3 days 🤣
Re Hawkins

I mean what do some of these AFL coaches do during the week - eat Jelly beans and pocket their $1 million salary and that is about it

How dumb and unprepared was Longmire - that 2nd goal of Hawkins - where he shoved that 6ft 6 inch skinny beanploe 4 club journeyman ( who has had a bit of luck against the Cats previously - but it all evaporated on Sat) out of the way at the ruck contest

We see it week in week out - and it is there for everybody to see - you dont put your ruckman if he is tall and lean against Hawkins - ive seen him do it to plenty - even Nankervis

Instead you put your key defender like McCartin - who has got plenty of bulk in at the ruck contest

Like when we play Nth Mth - Ben McKAY - who is built like a brick outhouse ( and ive seen him rag doll Tom a couple of times ) he should be the nominated ruckman against Hawkins - its just so obvious

Biggest game of the year - and Longmires preparation on that specific area was pathetic

He looked like a potential MVP for celebrations: his experience combined with his sheer size would have stood him in good stead, when he was arriving at MM he just looked like a professional rocking up for a job.

Just finished my third watch of the replay.

I know you can only have so many players in the best but Zac Toohey was huge.

From the first contest he won he was great 21 touches at 90%

He was excellent.

How were some of his kicks too, some real tight bullets around the corner. Don't think I've seen him use it as well as he did Saturday.

I don't know about non ruckman in the D50, big risk of giving a free kick away in the contest. Surely wouldn't be that hard though to have someone between Hawkins and the goal and within tackling / smothering distance once he grabs it.

Been shown that McCartin had previously been instructed to be the one to stick tight and not allow Hawkins such a move but he was asleep at the wheel Saturday.
