This is a disturbing story. I'm not sure we have discussed SLD in the crime forum.
'SLD, who was a teenager when he murdered a child on the Central Coast, served 22 years in prison for the crime.
After being released on parole in April 2023, he was taken back into custody six months later for breaching a strict supervision order. The breach occurred when SLD interacted with a woman and her toddler at Bulli Beach near Wollongong, violating conditions prohibiting him from associating with children.'
He was 13 years old when he murdered toddler Courtney Morley-Clarke on the NSW Central Coast in January 2001 by pulling her from her bed in the middle of the night, stabbing her through the heart and leaving her body in long grass.
Child murderer remains behind bars after court hears of revenge plans
After hearing concerns over his plans for revenge, violence, and tampering with his monitoring device, the NSW Supreme Court has refused to release a man convicted of murdering a child on the Central Coast.
