The AFL make all their money from the superstars, not the meat and potatoes players, or so I have read.

There should be a cap on individual player payments of $300K per season, rising at CPI every 6 months like the dole.

Minimum pay to be $100K pa. These million dollar salaries are ****ing ridiculous. Then the AFL could make games free
to attend for people with a Health Care Card or a Bridging visa as these dudes are doing it hard.
