Worth a read.

Thanks for sharing, what a likeable bloke. That's extremely selfless and you can see it come through in the way he plays. He likes to tackle and fair enough, he's very good at it. Him and Starc have been huge for us in the back end of the year locking down dangerous small forwards. Throw in Dunkley and Berry, I feel we have enough defensive capability to shut down Papley, Heeney and Gulden and if we do that, we'll go a very long way toward winning.

This team really does seem to want to prove themselves, they are hungry and resilient and have massive self-belief - all good signs.

Do we know if the Punt Road training session tomorrow will be open to the public? Know we have the Caps run on Friday at 1,30pm at the G. (Swans have their Caps at 1.30pm Friday at the G - will be interesting getting supporters in and out - last year we were there 30 mins before it started to get a good possie)

Wot. Are the captains runs on at the same time?

Ryan Lester about to be on SEN (with Tim & Gary).

Swans website says theirs is on 12.30 with entry via gate 1 and finishes at 1.15pm - seems strange we then come out at 1.30 as Swans will have lots of supporters watching them. Training normally down the City end so unless we’re up the Punt Road end?

Good chance to get there early and warm up the vocal cords with a few strong boos

heading into last years grand final I was very confident winning the flag. My thoughts were because players were in Brisbane all month. Never really pushed too much n the end for both games. Our final H&A game was at the gabba. Meanwhile collingwood were stretched in both games. At half time I was trying to put sauce on my meat pie and my hand was shaking from nerves. Then we lost .... got up and bailed out of there as quick as I could.

This time I am on the other side of my feelings. I am going down but I feel like Sydney could blow this one out. But we have given ourselves a chance by being in it and my wife is coming down for it with me so i'm going to try and enjoy the day more.

Fort instead of Oscar might throw the Swans/Grundy out a bit - they can’t really study Fort in his 2 games this year, and VFL is a different form line. Wonder if we’ll be setting up different than normal.
Watch Fort man handle Grundy. He won't like the physical nature in which Fort will play.

Thanks Lloyd, another one of your genius predictions hey

Keep up talking up everything Swans.

To be honest if I was a Swans coach, player or fan you would probably be saying the same thing. We are missing a critical player and Fort is a solid backup (maybe one of the best options going around) but he's not an exceptional player. Grundy as the very experienced guy should have the expectation on him to be a dominant component on Saturday. All the pressure on him.

In some ways we can be happy Grundy isnt a great tap ruck who serves it up on a silver platter. He's basically an extra mid style ruck. So Fort can come in fresh and just play hard against him and back our mids group to beat theirs

I like the idea of Fort to go hammer and tongs at Grundy for a half / little bit of the 3rd QTR and then big Joey to finish the game in the ruck as the game opens up. Burn Grundy down and then unleash Mckenna to provide some run and carry.

The great thing about Fort is that his contested marking is a strength and it is a weakness for Grundy. Certainly something we can look to take advantage of.

Is that a bit earlier than last year? Reckon we did it around 12:30-1 singing country roads.
Was great!
I didn't do the walk last year but Dom Fay mentioned that they turned up late for last years so that could of been the reason it started later... approximately how many did the march last year?
