Yep, he has been better this year, which coincides with him hitting the start of his peak age for performance.
I would guess that he will be at this level (injuries of course are the wild card) for the foreseeable future.
I think he is already the guy that the opposition targets, and he has performed anyway. He is so smart, and an amazing ball user and finisher in front of goals. But to me, his biggest strength is his ability to win contests inside 50. He is deceptively strong, and can take a contested mark against the opponents he will always get (ie. the oppositions best small defender). It is this rare combo of attributes that makes me compare him to T Greene from 3 years ago.
We will absolutely regret it if we don’t pay up to keep him.
