It's just another instance of the AFL taking a cheapo approach to trying to fix something. Pay to have two super slo mo cameras behind each goal and then two cameras at the top of a goal post pointing down. Pressure sensors in the goalposts are probably not needed but also wouldn't be that expensive in this day and age. Grainy blurred footage that 'might' show a finger being bent back as the ball is kicked or a ball touching the post - the whole thing is farcical and doesn't inspire confidence
Pretty sure in cricket that Cricket Australia pays for the run out cameras/hawkeye to be at each ground. The AFL's attempt is just so half arsed that it may as well be pointless it being there.
Am I missing something?
