It is time to be celebrating The Majestic

Please join the East Side in congratulating our own Majestic on reaching 100 quality games!

Such is the picture of consistency, this man raises his bat of 100 appearances after just 100 games, with a strike rate of 1.0 appearances per game!

This is Maj's 9th season in the SFA, after playing seasons 6-11 and then a one season wonder in S17 for the Rats, the majestic thought he'd hang up the boots (mainly because his tiny arms couldn't tie them up).

But come S35, a lingering feeling of missing Qooty was in the waters, and so the Tasmanian product put his hand up once again to join the SFA. Despite having played for 5 other teams including the Koalas, Majestic ventured over to the Eyrie, and thought "Hmm, this is a good island for a godzilla to call home", and that was it. The stunning venue was the pitch in and of itself. He took to his new team like a dinosaur takes to....well you know. This did prove to be a decisive move for Maj as he posted almost career best DT points, falling just 81 short of his best. Now, 8 games into S36, he's already well on track to storm past the magic number of 731 (Currently 518) as only an affable dinosaur can! Also, because we can track all sorts of stats now, Majestic is now 287th in the league for FREES FOR - interpret that however you like.

Maj has already notched up the 19 games required to get to that ton, but as he saw por_please_ya lose her milestone game and winning in her 201st, Maj correctly and smartly identified the trend. He asked for no fan fare until his 101st game (today), as to keep the momentum going. Unfortunately for his opponents, the win is simply a foregone conclusion - Congrats The Majestic on the win today! Interesting note - of current players, ClarkeM has played the most games with the 'Zilla, 26 games together in fact. I definitely 100% for sure reached out attempted to reach ClarkeM for comment, but nothing came back. Probably would say he's a good guy, better clubman, and great teammate on the field.

We hear the naysayers, a Godzilla shouldn't be allowed to play Qooty, unfair advantage, blah blah blah. We just hear jealousy we've got the loveable creature on our side, not yours!

Congrats Maj! May the next 100 be even more successful (and include the S36 premiership )
