Just announced that Gold Edition has retired after a less than good showing during the Lightning Stakes. Bit of a shame as was a great horse.

sad day, she was a gun. Although my favourite horse beat her today, she was still right up there and hope her leg is ok too..

she certainly did dig deep in her runs, as much as miss andretti is a champ too, i was sad to see her beating goldie last spring as you knew she was just giving her all.

Hope she lives a life of luxury now, she deserves it, no other horses could sustain the campaign she did...

Still a big drawcard will be missing from the Brisbane autumn series anyway.
