Am worried our plans this year were:
a) Thilthorpe has a breakout year.

yup, because I woke up on a Saturday morning and thought, what can I make up on a footy forum about an injured player.Well, it’s clear that you don’t
The biggest laughing stock of a performance I have witnessed as a crows supporter. This middling Geelong side who had several outs aren't even that good.
The current vibe at the club is disgusting. Patting each other's backs having achieved nothing at all.
Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouthAm worried our plans this year were:

Because we played with any resemblance of last year for only a quarter last night and 1.5 quarter last week.A one goal loss and a three goal loss. And yet somehow this is the most depressing start to a season I can remember.
Au revoir Brodie Smith you were once a terrific footballer.
Murphy gotta be dropped.
We need a rule at selection that says only one of Crouch and Berry in the team. It just doesn't work.
Hope I'm allowed to comment but I'm really surprised by these comments and I read it all the time online by opposition supporters.
I don't think you guys were as poor as what you are making them out to be. When De Koning, Kolodjashnij and Henry are playing well, that is when we can allow Stewart the freedom to do his thing. We didn't have this last year as Henry was injured half the season.
It's the fittest our list has been for many years. They had a very strong summer.
Bruhn, Guthrie and Atkins are not stars but they are handy players to have come back into the team. This is the depth we have at the moment.
I would also say the inside knowledge Geelong received from Rahilly was invaluable. It looked as though every defender knew your forwards strength & weaknesses.
Go on them. PM me the details of the medical rep … I mean surgeon … I mean rep.yup, because I woke up on a Saturday morning and thought, what can I make up on a footy forum about an injured player.
If you don’t like what the rep told me, then take it up with them. PM me if you want their number and you can annoy them too.
We are going to get absolutely destroyed at Marvel and the MCG this year if we continue this trajectoryBecause we played with any resemblance of last year for only a quarter last night and 1.5 quarter last week.
No, we're s**t. Bombing it to Tom Stewart repeatedly shows we are dumb.
I thought Burgess did well enough that McAdam wasn’t missed at all
We made St Kilda do the same thing the week prior.
Rosco Lyon has never been cluey.
*losingThat's as flat as I've felt after a game in a long time...the thought of another 'almost' season feels exhausting to think about, and 'almost' might be generous, if we keep going like we are we'll be nowhere near it. I did worry about losing Rahilly, maybe it has left a dent. Only round 2, but dang, it's got that familiar feeling.
And god damn it, I hate loosing to Geelong...almost as much as loosing to Port Adelaide. They always seem to have our measure.
I do love Soligo though, we're lucky to have snagged him.
Have to say, was a strange game by Dawson. Maybe the worst game he's played for guys. He's a barometer. When he's on, you guys are a completely different unit.

I think he may be carrying a niggle.
Yeah in the coaches boxI think he may be carrying a niggle.
A coach that believes in them ?What do JHF and Harley Reid have in common that none of our newer draftees have?
We will keep losing under him.Nicks was not even asked about any individuals in his presser post-game other than Fog hitting the post, sure the answers to the questions he was asked were his typical gobbledygook crap answers but the journo questions to him were trash, almost makes you miss Rucci actually putting some pressure on him to come up with something unique to say.
A journo to have the balls to question him about Smith and also Crouch and Laird not being sustainable in the midfield together would be nice.
Also totally contradicted himself by saying early in his presser that he didn’t think the starts were that big an issue but then near the end he says next week they need to look into their starts as playing from behind obviously isn’t working
Read the post. It’s pretty clear a surgeon told the rep. Not sure why that’s so hard for you to comprehend. Stop wasting my time.Go on them. PM me the details of the medical rep … I mean surgeon … I mean rep.
But we played the same last week against GCS for 2.5 quarters as well.Yep. That Geelong visitor got that right, Rahilly would know about the weaknesses of our forward line than anyone..... including the way we enter from the midfield. Our forwards weren't completely outplayed, with a good proportion of the problems being of their own making. But the entry from the midfield was terrible, picked off or sent to the edges or forced into kicking long or into crowd areas. We were left with kick and hope.
I was watching him too as I backed him for 20 disposals, And your right it was like he didn't want the ball even when he was the best option. You can't have your wingman like that. It's a shame because he was playing good footy and was easily in our best 22 before his injury last year. Was at the game in the nosebleed seats. I watched chayce Jones really closely during the game. He is a complete non entity out there. He offers nothing. On a couple of a occasions I witnessed him trying to direct traffic with his back to the play! not realising the ball was coming into his area only to be caught off guard and miles off his opponent. He looks like a guy scared to actually do anything but run around out there. It's bizzare that he keeps getting games to be honest.
