Need to do a rebuild.

Mchenry, murphy, keays, smith… stinking unflushable turds. None of them should play another game for the club again.. but they’ll get picked every single week until around round 18.. when we’ll try some youngsters instead.. then we’ll bring back the turds next year for another 18 rounds. The Adelaide way.

Jones shouldve come back via the sanfl after missing the end of last year.

Berry.. back to his last year form. Maybe the last 6 weeks was just a temp vain of form.

Rankine.. needs to lift.

The whole club needs to be upended.. and the fxkwits that re-signed nicks need to be turfed out the fxxkn door with him.

You are so right, There are too many non entities in our team. Players that do f@@k all and have no positive influence.
Time to weed out these shit players because they had enough chances and are still poor.

By the way did Pedler have one of the worst games ever??? He made mistake after mistake and was a complete liability.

Murphy is garbage with no talent.
Jones will never become anything more than an 18 possession player with no influence.

Smith has been poor for almost 2 years
Fog is not showing enough at all.
did they sign Nicks up when no other club wanted him, why not wait until mid year for any decision. The whole coaching group need to be shot, they didn’t try anything different the whole game, it was like watching a rerun for 3 hours

I liked the part in the last quarterc where we bombed it into our crowded forward line time after time for Stewart to mark uncontested and then they would methodically work it down the ground and hit up a leading Cameron for a simple chest mark. He kicked three or four points in a row but it was pleasing to watch.

Crouch was easily our best player, horrible take. Only one to show any composure.

Agreed. I’m actually half confident when he has, or is around the ball. Actually stands out in our team as a proper AFL player with clean hands while everyone else stuffs up possible attacks with fumbles and errors

That forward line of ours is putrid. Fog doesn’t position well and Tex can’t be the goto man. Burgess was okay in stages, but doesn’t look a dominant forward. I don’t understand our forward structure and I’m worried the coaching staff feel the same. Our midfield looked second rate at best. Even if we won the ball, it was just poor decision or not disposing the ball to our advantage. Im struggling to find a good player tonight. If I had to pick one, I’d give it to ROB. At least he looked like he was trying hard.

Apologists could say, hang on, don't be so harsh, Geelong won a Flag 2 years ago and they've played together for a long time. Crows are a young side, try-hard, nice-bloke Coach etc etc
BUT
Geelong has a Coach with nous, strategy and a game plan and his team reflect and exact his vision for the side.

Brodie is done and Berry is not an AFL quality player. Pedlar how many times do you want to burn the ball. Keane set up 3 goals for Geelong early on. Dawson carrying an injury or what, doesn't look like the superstar he was last year.

What I thought of tonight's game.

I thought Adelaide got too defensive minded, played too slowly, did not take risks, lacked drive, bombed it into their forward half way too much. They seemed to lack inspiration at times too. You cannot do that against an experienced and well coached Geelong side, they will absolutely destroy you for your mistakes. I had Geelong in the top 8 this year and I think they will surely be returning to finals action.

Then Fogarty, he got too over excited in that kick for goal late. What was he thinking about?. Compare that to Rankine's final goal.

It's going to be a very long season for sure with the trip to Perth to come next weekend and I see us with very little chance against Fremantle unless they can seriously sort themselves out offensively. I still think to some degree that last year gets to the players. Forget about that damn Sydney game last year, just imagine it does not exist. I don't think some players have forgotten about it. But yeah, we certainly struggle in adversity.

Again what is wrong with that if he is at least hitting a target unlike half the team tonight. Did you enjoy all those Stewart intercept marks? Zero point to moving to fast and long if you constantly turn it over.
I agree he is very limited but he was arguably our best tonight, right there with ROB against a make shift Cats midfield is a worry.

Realistically our backline is still too young and timid. We won't beat teams with beasts like Hawkins and Cameron till they get the experience.

Rachele is starting to worry me. He's definitely not living up to expectations. In particular, he's looked unbelievably weak in several situations, no effort in going for the ball or the man, weak tackles. He needs a heart transplant.

He looks so slow too. In his first season he did some real fast run down tackles.

I reckon he’s carrying way too much weight. Needs less weights and more sprints.

had even the most minuscule drop of integrity in him he’d call a press conference and announce his retirement on Monday morning..

That kick out of bounds from smith was his “Adam Gilchrist drop as a keeper” moment.. Gilchrist had integrity. He immediately put his hand up and said it was all over after that and stood aside from the Aussie side..

And lets not pretend Smith was in good form last year either.. he was mediocre most of the year at best with a couple of good games sprinkled in here and there.
