Hello everyone and welcome to Good Morning Sweet-FA where we discuss all the latest news and goings on in the world of Sweet. We will kick off todays news segment with some breaking news...

Demons in strife after police bust
demons.jpg

Police have successfully conducted a raid on the house of Mount Buller's vice captain Headless and found a significant amount of an as yet unknown substance. Headless is currently being held in Sweet County Jail for a maximum of 24 hours until more information is known. The word coming out of Mount Buller is that they knew about this prior to the raid and have been keeping it under wraps for a very long time. Police will be questioning all players and staff over the coming weeks. The Demons have started like a house on fire with 4 wins from 4 games and are looking towards another premiership tilt. We have no idea how this will affect Mount Buller's season with one of their leaders getting arrested. We will keep you updated on any news that comes to hand later on when the police finally identify exactly what the substance is.

Coney Island pubs reach all time high profits
warriors.jpg

Coney Island has seen a huge uptick in drinking this past 2 seasons and it is paying off handsomely for the brewery owners. Profits have skyrocketed with an estimated 145% increase in pub patrons just this year alone. Could this have something to do with the Warriors current Sweet-FA team performance? Difficult to say, but Tonga Bob and co. must be pleased with their brewery production output in the short term.

And now to the weather...

It was cloudy conditions at the Eyrie this weekend when East Side drew with the Dragons. Down at Spotswood Oval it was a rainy affair for the Old Boys and the Furies. It was also raining at Van Cordlandt Park when Royals defeated the Warriors. Gumbies experienced warm conditions at the House of Gumby when they won against the West Coast Wonders. Bombers suffered in rainy conditions in their loss to the Swamprats at Underground Stadium (not very underground is it?). Finally, it was warm at the Snow Dome when Demons massacred the Roys.

And now to the final discussion point to end the show...

Where is the 14th team?
14th.jpg

The people of Sweet were happy with the Old Boys joining the league in season 34, but most are unhappy with the bye structure and would very much like to see it go bye bye. We are all holding our breath in the hopes that this unknown team of posters get their act together and put a solid bid forward before the beginning of next season. I pray we don't have to suffer through another shortened season with Wise Guy Sam at the helm of the bye.

Is a 14th team already put together and are simply waiting for the opportune time to announce themselves? Well all of Sweet is waiting...

I agree, we need more teams and more dilution.
Posting teams are too good these days with too much quality.
Straight from the Old Boys PR handbook that one.

News Pt.2 and Weather Forecast for Round 5

Good Morning Sweet-FA and welcome back to your favourite morning news show. First up we have some breaking news...

Fires break out in Sin City

sincity-min.png

Firefighters have been working all through the night to try and quell the blazes that have forced Sin City to a standstill for the past 12 hours. Most of the Swamprats team have been forced out of their homes for their own safety. philreich in an interview with Police was holding back tears as he told them about losing his caterpillar. The police found out later that his caterpillar died 5 years ago.

We have reason to believe that these are not naturally caused and are almost 100% created on purpose. Sin City police force is working in tandem with the Sweet Federal Police to try and figure out just who exactly started these fires. We will let you know more when we get more information.

And now an update from yesterdays breaking news...

Headless walks after wrongful raid

Headless is a free man today after the police discovered an unknown substance in his house from yesterdays raid. We can now say this substance was in fact Sherbet powder that Headless is highly addicted to. The entire police force today were very sorry for the wrongful raid and gave Headless a $10 coupon to The Cheese Factory in Sweet County Mall. Very thoughtful indeed.

Wonders take a chance on team selection

The West Coast Wonders have announced that they are putting their team positions up to chance this weekend after losing their last 3 games. damicky is furious that his team hasn't been able to work on-field and is looking at this extreme measure to try and get some luck on their side.

The Las Vegas Bears are up in arms over this manoeuvre because they didn't think of it first. tony and the bears might need to take a tip from the cheese if they also want to try and turn their season around.

Now to the forecast for the weekend...

Weather forecast for the weekend
weather.jpg
The rain is looking to clear up at Underground Stadium for the Swampats game against the Gumbies. Warm conditions are looking likely at Abdu Prison for the Bombers match against the Phoenix. Heavy rain has been pouring down non-stop at rfctigerarmy's Hippodrome, making it likely to be muddy conditions for the Furies and Warriors game this weekend. The Golden Throne stadium is looking to be perfect cloudy conditions this weekend for the Royals and Wonders game. Ljp86's Lair is looking in fine conditions for the Dragons match against the Roys. Finally looking south, it is likely to be raining again at Spotswood Oval for the Old Boys match against the Bears.

Now you just need infommercials, the best way of doing this would be interviewing someone else and letting them flog their own shit.
