Workshop Graphic Design Help Needed for Cricket Team

Hi all need some help!!
My cricket team this year won the premiership going back-to-back.
Was a great win will post details of win if u want.
Now here comes my problem, Im in charge of creating the best back to back people have a seen ..... and I have no idea what to do!!

So Im asking for your help...

Here are the details of our club
-Cleve Cricket Club (Will post logo if wanted)
-Nickname "Bombers"
-Club colours are the same as Essendon red & black
-Celebrating 80 seasons of cricket this season
- Beat a team called the Rams

Im open to any ideas cartoons, stylish, making fun of opposition team?

Any help much appreciated

I cannot draw for nuts so I nabbed the "bomber pilot" from some baseball team logo that I had never heard of. Also, turned the baseball bat into a cricket one. Would it be this sort of thing that you were after? I just assumed that the premierships were 09/10 and 10/11?

I know you can't use it because it is partly the logo of another team, or can you because you have modified it by enough?

If you want help you need to write a more detailed brief:

1. Post the logo, preferably in an editable format.
2. What EXACTLY do you want the logo to say, i.e. back to back or who you beat? It's a common misconception that designers like to have 'freedom'. Bullshit. Tell us exactly what you want, word for word, in the final design.
3. How will it be applied? T-shirts? Club newsletter? Anything else - list them all.
4. Don't care if you're 'open to ideas'. Tell us what you want. Cartoon? Prestegious logo? Theres a big difference between the two. If you want random people on an internet forum to give you free shit let them know what you want so they're not wasting their time.

Thanks for that!! I never thought of anything like that but looks cool. Reminds of a retro movie sports poster you see around the play.

If you have anymore ideas that would be greatly appreciated.

Looks fantastic, but maybe change the yellow tinge in the letters to black, or the outline to black and inner shading to red.
