Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said the team is undecided on whether or not K Mason Crosby will be activated from the active/PUP list ahead of Tuesday's deadline.

Crosby had a disastrous 2021, converting 25-of-34 field goals while also missing two extra points. Despite his struggles, the Packers opted to bring Crosby back this season, but a knee scope has kept him sidelined since July. Early reports suggested that Crosby could be ready by Week 1, but that feels a little less likely now. The team still has until Tuesday to decide on Crosby. If he remains on the PUP list beyond the deadline, he will be forced to sit out the team's first four games of the season. Ramiz Ahmed has filled in during Crosby's absence and is a perfect three-for-three on field goal attempts this preseason.

Kevin Clark is one of the worst podcasters and analysts of the game of football I have ever heard, but this is a great, well written article. Maybe he should stick to print.

To the main point though, great article about our coach. Some interesting anecdotes that I enjoyed. Seems like a great person to be leading a football team. Go Pack Go.

Packers activated K Mason Crosby (knee) from the active/PUP list.

Crosby, entering his age-38 season, had been placed on the PUP list following offseason knee surgery. The Packers' all-time leader in points and field goals should be ready to go for Week 1 against the Vikings, barring practice setbacks. Crosby should once again be a useful fantasy kicker in 2022.

Not much chat here yet guys.

I'm very keen to see how this week unfolds. I am praying we get Elgton Jenkins back but in typical Packers fashion I'm not confident, and I have no confidence on Bakh playing ever again so I'll believe that when I see it.

It'll be good to have Lazard back, and on the defensive side it looks like Walker will be okay who was impressive.

I'm not too pessimistic on the result on the weekend either. Watson catches that ball and things are different, combine that with the turnover and it's different I know it's always easy I guess for any fan to just pick things like that and say oh that's why we could've won but we weren't really that bad, moreso just off. To me it wasn't anything to do with receivers, but more the offensive line and the Vikings pass rush causing the problems.

Matt really makes me wonder sometimes as a coach. I just do not understand why for two god damn seasons we have refused to give Aaron Jones the ball. The guy is an absolute star, and dynamic playmaker in this league yet we continue to feed shit truck Dillon the ball for 3 yards. Just baffles me, the guy had 9.5ypc this week but yet again just don't feed the man.

Regarding Rodgers comments on Amari Rodgers, I wonder what he meant by that. Whether he is commenting on the coaches not having him more involved in the offense, or does he just think he is shithouse. Leaning towards the latter but I can't be sure one way or the other. I guess he probably thinks he sucks because he does find a way to praise guys that he likes usually.

Agree with your point of wanting to get Jones the ball more. Bit of a trend with last year too.

Just seen the clip of rodgers getting asked about Amari rodgers. How strange. Obviously something behind that.

Will be interested to see how the passing game goes this week if rodgers can give the wr’s a bit more of a chance instead of dumping it off to rb’s/te’s. Gee it would of been amazing to start of his career with that 75yrd touchdown for Watson🤦🏼‍♂️

And also agree with bakthiari, how goods that contract worked out

He hasn't really been himself since the Vikings game week 16 last year. I know it's a smaller sample size of 3 games but I hope he can turn this around because something is off.

Little bit of ‘I told you so’ to the coaching staff regarding Aaron Jones after Monday!

Oh mate I honestly don't get it. The only thing I can assume is that they don't want to overwork him leading to an injury, but if you refuse to give him the ball as much as he should, you are just wasting him.

He is one of the most elusive agile and cutting players I have seen. Yet we continue to hand it to Dillon at unnecessary times. Feed the man!

Otherwise it was good to win but still a lot to improve on. Run D is the big concern now. Evans out for Tampa plus a few other injuries makes this game an easier task for us but it's still a massive ask down there. Was so good to see Jenkins back. I'm very excited for this game, and it would be good to finally get one over Brady after the past few years.

Don't know about anyone else, but we just won a game we'd usually lose, to a team we'd usually lose to, in a climate we'd usually lose in.

Was an ugly second half, but I don't care how ugly it was, we did enough to get the W against a tough conference foe.

Im happy with it.

Well we take the win but jeez that second half was so damn frustrating.

I haven't had a post game look on twitter but I feel a lot of the loser verified people will be saying 'oh a wins a win shut up' etc and whilst that is true, it was just frustrating to have so many repetitive 3 and outs in the second half.

It could've been a blowout, but Tampa are obviously a very good team. Talent wise we were both missing a lot, when you take out Jaire in the first qtr.

Now we have a pretty good stretch here until the big Buffalo game. We just can't slip up here and lose one. Pats at home against a backup QB and the Giants in London need to be Ws. Then the Jets and the Commanders too, it's a good stretch here where this team needs to figure out exactly what it is offensively. I just feel like we wouldn't push the ball down the field at all today after we got a lead, which let the Bucs kinda stack things between the sticks.

Sorry only just saw this after I had posted. And yeah I agree with all of that absolutely, it was a tough win and we usually wouldn't win them, all great points. Maybe I am just being greedy for wanting more but that's what I want.

We're allowed to have differing viewpoints my friend. I know we live in a world where an opinion that is different to one's own needs to be shitcanned and debunked as much as possible, but that is not my world.

I absolutely agree with your stance to an extent. We as a team must be relentless and unforgiving to achieve the ultimate goal. Against these perceived lesser teams this next month, absolutely need to assert ourselves and present some top tier wins.

But this kind of game in past years has been an absolute stinker for us, and I was fully expecting to be 1-2 at this point of the season. Of course, I would have loved to see us kick on up and down the field all game, but I think its a bit much to expect us to dominate a quality defense for four quarters with the offense we have.

For sure mate, of course we can see things differently.

I just caught myself in the middle a bit, frustrated that we couldn't put the game away, but also very happy that we did win this game in the circumstances like you said.

Very keen for this next month to hopefully get the offense completely sorted and guys like Watson and Doubs acclimatized before we have some tougher matchups.

Pretty interesting 4 weeks we have been through.

If you're looking glass half full we have lost to a decent divisional opponent, beat up a shitty divisional opponent, stumbled past a depleted good team and then needed OT to beat a 3rd string rookie.

I have faith that we will improve but I really think we need to see a lot of improvement on both sides of the ball if we are to contend properly.
Rodgers played such a poor first half yesterday, I haven't seen him play so poorly in a very long time. Maybe 2018 at some point?

Mind you the game shouldn't have been so close with that delay of game no-call.

Doubs is going to be so good. His touchdown catch was amazing, however that's 3 fumbles now so far in 4 games. Plus poor technique on the non-catch TD.
I said to one of my mates, I haven't done the audible 'ohhhhhhh!!!' while watching a game for a while now, but that throw to Doubs got that treatment. I thought it was going to be an all time moment. Not to be.

Rashan Gary's first half in particular but overall whole game was amazing. We haven't seen a defensive player this dominate since prime Clay Matthews. So fun to watch. Absolute superstar of the game at this point and needs more media love imo.

2 fumbles for Doubs but it's the last two weeks in which he's done it.

Unsurprisingly Gary has turned out to be a great pick, I still remember the naysayers losing their shit before, during and after his first season.

That Denver game in 2015 is probably still the worst.

I feel like there's a Bengals game in there that was horrid.

I think we're still only getting started tbh. Sounds like Nijman is being moved to RT now Bakh is going to be playing the majority of offensive snaps. Jenkins moving back to G, and that gives us our best O-Line for a while, and puts Jenkins back in his best position (IMO).

And the WRs are going to be a WIP for most of the season I'm afraid, there's going to be growing pains, times we're going to be in awe, and times we'll have our heads in our hands. While I am loving Doubs, I think they key is Watson getting up to speed, and his ability to take the top off a defense.

Just a shoutout to Preston Smith also, not getting the stats Gary is, but I feel I've seen him in the backfield a whole lot this season. Was really critical of his second season with us, but he's been ultra consistent since.
