Hello Fellow Hawk supporters! It's been a long time since I last made a post (hence the name!) and sort of jumped back on board around the time of the draft. I am just curious if anyone had any information on Harry Miller? He was the big talk of 2004 pre-season, but I'm sure at some stage througout the season was playing for Box Hill seconds!
Is he a likely improver for us next year? From what I've heard he's more the Jeff Farmer / Phil Matera forward as opposed to Mark Williams (who plays more a leading forward role). And What about Zac Dawson? everyone knows ruckmen need a few years to develop, but has he shown anything for Box Hill? did he play firsts or seconds?

One more thing, does anyone know how to change my name? Chicky 17 is a little outdated! thought that I might go for a funny sort of name like 'Greene the pea-heart' :D

You have to ask Fred and he will do it, PM him...

Harry Miller IMO, has to show more in Box Hill to be considered a spot as of this moment. Id take Williams over him any day (even the differences in playing styles), and i would think Lekkas may be used up there this year, he too i would take over Miller. But if he shows he can play this year, by all means give him a go...I would expect a couple of games from him this year, hopefully anyway, would like to see how he goes...
 
I believe that keeping Miller in the reserves all this year is pointless. We know he has ability, throwing him in for a couple of games this year may bring the best out of him.

Firstly I'm surprised we took him at 25 last year, but in BH his best games came on the wing, when he was played in the pocket he didnt have much of an impact, and kicked 1's + 2's mainly without doing much else. He definately has the speed and a potential x factor, I agree you gotta play him in seniors this year, he could be rise to the challenge like a Davey.
 
come on guys we gotta give these kids a go. what age is he 18-19, he has one thing that our footy club has severe weaknesses in and that is pace. just let him develop
