Suspect it’s 25 years rather than 20 is the milestone. I got invited to a guard of honour for that in 2023. Even a basic pack should keep the years ticking along..

not sure of what milestone years the club does it for, but i recall receiving a nice certificate a few years back

It’s really hit & miss.
A couple of my kids got certificates for their 10yr milestone but not all.
My eldest got nothing for 20yr
I got a certificate for 30yrs but nothing for 40yrs.
I’ve heard of people getting invites to functions for milestones years but I’ve never received 1.
See what happens this year as it’s my 50th year

We used to get great Membership recognition certificates (Loyalty Certificate). My 20 year one was a "Mathews Certificate", beautifully presented. 10 years was the "Tuck Certificate".

My 30 year one was terrible. A complete departure from the old style, zero personality. Unframable. I still display my 20 years Matthews one....

The Club needs to re-look at this.

Hey everyone, happy new year to all. Just have a question about my membership that i hope someone may be able to answer for me.

This year will be my 20th as a hawks member. As i live in qld i decided 3 or 4 years ago to downgrade to a basic pack with no game access, they just don't play up here enough to justify paying more for a ticket to something that i have barely used in 20 years.

Anyway my question is as a 20 year member, will i receive anything extra regarding the milestone? I'm not expecting free merchandise but thought i might have got a letter, email or something?
I'm not meaning to sound ungrateful, i'm not. I just thought there may have been recognition for 20 years membership or does my downgraded basic membership package change that?

I am a 33 consecutive years member in 2025

I have received a loyalty certificate for 10, 20, and 30 years which I have framed in my garage

They better keep it up when I get to 40 years!!!

That's pretty poor that you received nothing for your 40th year membership. Hope they recognize your 50th year. As a hawks fan i'd be personally disappointed if they didn't acknowledge your loyalty.

You may get the certificate separately. I got my 20 years one not with my pack many year ago.

You may be right, especially considering there are others reaching milestones this year that haven't received anything yet.

Hopefully they arrive later in the year. Wouldn't be a good look if long term members were snubbed. Still, very early days yet and i have confidence they will do the right thing. I appreciate your reply too. Congrats on 30 years!!

I might ring them, the grannies on the phone are always nice to talk to! I'll just ask if they keep track of # years membership as there's a lot of discussion at bigfooty.com about it, some missing out on 30 and 40 etc.

My daughter got an invite last year for her twenty years to hold the cups and have her picture taken with them.
I have never been offered anything like that. Luckily she took me with her.

I received my membership just before Xmas.

I think whoever did the proof reading on the membership envelope it comes in needs to rethink their career lol.
