No bad take, just facts

Hawks are crap and with the impending inception of Tassie, maybe the Hawks will be at the other end of the chasm of expansion clubs taking all the talent they clearly need
You sound more upset than SYL begging for Hawk oblivion.

Ehy wasn't he more hyped? Looks an excellent prospect
This time last year we thought we might get to put him on the list as a rookie, if at all. Giants and Bombers started to sniff as the year went on and Calsher started to show more forcing our hand.

His improvement has been quite rapid, and he’s impressed everyone since being drafted. Doesn’t do much at training without Gunston being in his ear, which has had an effect too.

Pretty sure he missed a couple of years prior to his draft year in 2023, as he was dealing with his father’s battle with cancer.

I didn't know that - was it Paul or Greg?

Paul. He and Gunston lost their dads within 3 days of each other, so they have an unfortunate bond.

Great hard fought win by the Hawks yesterday. Very impressed with Calsher Deer. You need to be very talented to have an impact like that being so raw and in your first game too.

All of a sudden morale is boosted and next week looks winnable against a Saints outfit who got the win but haven’t been all that convincing. The Dogs got them by 10 goals a few weeks ago.

14 wins to a grand final for the ‘baby hawks’. Wide open season

If we kick straight against Dons and Pies we are 4-4.

We won on the weekend, without Lewis and Chol. With those two back in, we will be ominous in the forward half. We currently do not have a key forward.
And if Back One Out wasn't an angry old man he'd be nicer.

But he is and you didn't. :)

If McDonald kicks that goal, we win. We were tanking anyway, yeah?
If McDonald kicks that goal it would have put you a point up with enough time to go. I don't know if you've noticed, but we go alright in that situation. But count it as a win if you like.

Just check the comments on our board before commenting how good he’s been.

He is in my SuperCoach side so a somewhat vested interest in real life but the general consensus is that we are much better off as a defensive unit without him than with him.
He's improved his defensive side quite alot. Your being facetious claiming he is the reason your defence is functioning better without him. The fact you said that says to me you haven't even watched 1 Hawks match and that includes Round 1 because Mass played very well for us offensively and defensively that day. Your either deluded to this fact or just trying to push your own narrative because Hawforn. Give it a rest mate.

And they traded a young key forward for the privilege of bringing Gunston back.
Which young key forward. Kosi or Ryan?. Last time I checked their both playing 2s and Richmond have been crippled with injury. Chol has already impacted the game better in his short time with us. Ryan is also 26 so which young key forward did we let go again? We have 2 potentially 3 on our list outside of Lewis and Chol. We don't miss Ryan and Kosi I can assure you.

We’ve been through this. Keep up.

Lewis has been very ordinary in 2024.
Chol? Well, he is just ordinary.
