A few pages back, there was some discussion about North commemorating their 96 premiership on Friday (and their 75 one in the corresponding fixture last season). Last year, Essendon celebrated their 84/85 and Carlton their 95 in their home games against us. I don't think it's anything to do with Hawthorn per second, more that you advertise your success in a home game against the reigning premier.

Which is why it's important to keep winning, so that others have to reach back further and further into the past to find a favourable comparison to our unending glorious present. Because that's the Hawthorn way.

Just had quick look at the fixture. Can't believe we have to play these pr1cks again in Rd 21. Just hope no-one (Lewis) loses their shit and get rubbed out for the finals.......unless it's smashing Ferrito which would be a worthy cause.
