There is a thread on the North board where they are bagging us for taking Heppell over Atley.

I personally think that up to now Heppell has been much more impressive.

Interested in getting a neutral view.

Both have the potential to be guns.

On what little we have seen, both statistically and on basic performance Heppell has easily been the more impressive.

In terms of predicting who will be better ongoing - who the hell knows, anything can happen.

Pretty sure both clubs are happy to have got what they got.

Heppell was better in the Tac Cup,
Heppell was Better in the under18 championships.
Heppell has started his AFL much better then Atley also.

Heppell leads in nearly every stat possible.

Conclusion

Heppell by a fair bit.

Anyone who want to get a little sooky about the fact that they are only 12 games into there careers can just no participate in the poll.

Then everyone is happy.

Heppell would be leading at the moment but for those that have been watching North they will know Atley can play, his line breaking abilty and pace could make him the next Judd.

Heppell.

Atley looks like he could be a good player but for me Heppell just has a whole lot more class.

Already can contribute significantly as an AFL player.

I was never really sold on Atley, but his line breaking ability could be phenomenal.

Incorrect, Atley won the Vic Country MVP in the same side.

Otherwise probably spot on.

Dyson was always going to be an absolute ripper, no arguments there, especially after his TAC Cup finals series. :thumbsu:

Atley is an inside midfielder with genuine linebreaking pace, about as rare as it gets, and suits North's needs perfectly. The whole Judd comparison is way over the top, but Shaun will be a pretty serious player when he grows into his body, bordering on 6"3...

I think it's safe to say both teams are pretty darn happy at this stage,.

Judging by what we've seen so far, which is all there really is to go by, Heppell by quite a considerable margin.
