I think this deserves its own thread separate from the megatrade thread of 1000 topics. Anyway,

From WA, played for Claremont before being drafted

27 year old attacking half back flanker.

Obviously has a few issues but do they outweigh his talent?

Should we approach Collingwood?

Why?

And nay.
because the word out of Melbourne is they are shopping him around right now looking for the best offer, and premiership half back flankers dont grow on trees.

That mega thread is an absolute mess and player discussions can quickly go off topic.

It was already discussed in the mega trade a few days ago.

It's the same consensus:
-likes to run with it which is a plus
-bad overhead when defending
-kicking is a scatter gun
-world class twat with a massive ego who's more trouble then he thinks he's worth

2 and 3 is enough to question it but when you add in 4 it's a very resounding no.

am i the only one that is repulsed by that supermegaultratrade thread? This is why i just find it a bit ordinary.

I finished watching Fox Footy.
the pannellists on there are suggesting that its a done deal that Collingwood are shopping Obrien around.
Come on to bigfooty to see what other Eagles fans are saying about it
No thread titles about Lumumba/obrien
Open up the megamessyshiteverywhere thread and back track from the last page (thinking it would be the most current topic) and read a bunch of posts on players other than Harry Obrien. IE: unnecessarily reading posts/wasting time hoping its one of the last topics discussed in the 22 page thread. Finally decide to search via Lumumba in "this thread only" option and see its brought up way back on page 7.

Its a terribly shit way for a fan to read a forum, when Obriens current status is a hot topic in the AFL right now. To be perferctly honest, i think the supermegaultra trade thread is simply moderator laziness. No offense, but thats what it is IMO. It shouldnt be a painstaking effort for me to come on to the forums and find a topic i want to talk about with a specific thread title.

Ok let's be to the point and a tad blunt. Remember no holding back .

NO **^%*^% way do we want that egotistical , self absorbed piece of *^<+ any where near our Club.

Wow that feels better .

Translation with out the melodramatic over the top rant and said politely .....

That would be no thanks.

Yeah, nah, massive self important campaigner, hates King Kong jokes and he's seem stuff man, real stuff, uz don't realise.
I reckon he's half lost his marbles with the petty shit he is taking offence to, either shut up, or just come out and marry seedsman already and be done with it.

So no don't want him at the eagles.....although he would enjoy our Cambodia house building missions, until masto trains them down, would be massively offended with such behaviour.

OP.

  1. Kick yourself in the head.
  2. Kick yourself in the head
  3. Kick yourself in the head.

After this, if you still think this is a good idea,

kick yourself in the head.

:p

Harry ladumba has 2 strong attributes

First is running flat out 20m and then kicking a 50m high floating drop punt which gets cut off by the opposition over and over and over !

Second is being a self important douche !

Which attribute helps our squad ?

And It doesn't deserve it's own thread !

Haha OP treated a little harshly there.

I think he'd suit a flag contender with a strong coach willing to try and rein in his wayward kicking out of defence.

At his best he can be pretty damaging, but you would only want to take him cheaply as a bit of a boom/bust gamble in a year in which you are around the top 4 mark. You wouldn't want to invest too much time into him if you're still a few years off your premiership window.
