The stage is officially set
In my memory usually the main logo is pretty much touching the Centre Square - today there's enough space for a whole re-paint between it and the Square!
It certainly worked for the pre-match Anthem stuff.Yep thats correct. Not quite sure of the reason, but I actually think it looks better the way they did it this year.
Would’ve looked so much better if they had the club logos facing the main broadcast wing too
"Let's do all the logos for TV...except the club logos"Would’ve looked so much better if they had the club logos facing the main broadcast wing too

Would look better if the club logos faced the same was as the rest, doesn’t matter about which side they are onI’m gonna go out on a limb here and say they’re not idiots, Telstra probably just pay a lot of money for the rights to the camera facing logos.
They could paint them on the wing thenI’m gonna go out on a limb here and say they’re not idiots, Telstra probably just pay a lot of money for the rights to the camera facing logos.
Oh yeah for sure but that doesn't mean they can't paint the club logos facing the camera, or put them either side of the AFL logo on the wing so they're nice and visible for the huge TV audience that every other logo is painted for. And most people in the stands wouldn't get a good view of the club logos where they are either so not like it's for the people there.I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say they’re not idiots, Telstra probably just pay a lot of money for the rights to the camera facing logos.

Even before Telstra one logo was on the far side from the camera so it's just a case of they've always been thrown on without thought to visibility on TV and nowadaya it's even more clear that is the case.
If they were paid sponsor logos I bet they'd face the camera and I reckon we'd get used to it just like the Toyota logos in the goalsquares.I do agree having them on the wing would look better but once again, this is probably due to branding guidelines from Toyota, or at least this is usually the case in my experience in dealing with ground markings and advertising.
The logos on the 50m arcs are facing the correct way as per how the 50 would typically face on a footy field. Honestly reckon it would look off if you had them turned 90 degrees.
Collingwood playing Geelong next year and Eddie will say it needs to not be red...The team on the red 50m arc has lost 4 GF in a row now...
Soooo you're saying Carlton is a chance next year? The team on the red 50m arc has lost 4 GF in a row now...
Yeah for sure, they're a huge chance to go bottom 4Soooo you're saying Carlton is a chance next year?
You guys would choke even if you were on the blue arcYeah for sure, they're a huge chance to go bottom 4
