Bloody brilliant 10pm Monday nights on SBS. Anyone watch it last night? Pretty raw and crude but bloody funny. Good to see Aussies being able to take the p15s out of themselves I reckon. Should be a really funny series, can't wait til next week.

Yeah it's basically just Pizza with a different name, same people involved in it and the same style. Hardly anything groundbreaking or original and not really all that funny either.

Ha ha ha...I've seen a short of that. It wasn't last night's episode. Bloody funny that part. If you watch it for what it is it's a pisser of a show.
Agreed. It's crap.
If you like this shit go and watch a season of Shameless and see how this kind of thing can be done really well, clever and funny with well drawn characters.

Totally agree. Damn I didn't even pick up that it could be compared to shameless (albeit it a very poor copy).
I wonder how he gets the funding to make these shows? It makes us look like we do not have quality writers and we do. I mean, look at Wilfred, also low budget but brilliant. More scrutiny is needed before approving idiotic shows like this. He's getting approval on the back of the success of fat pizza (equally shit but probably not as annoying as it was his first show so we weren't bored to death of him).
Paul Fenech is crap and should move over and give that air space to someone with talent.

Massive fan of Shameless, haven't missed an episode, but it's apples and pears...Shameless aims to be a quality comedy whereas Housos is simply taking the piss and trying to make it as raw and silly as it can. If you watch it with a light heart and open mind it's pretty bloody funny. It's obviously nowhere near the quality of a Shameless but for what it is it's a pisser I reckon!
